Was sad the fries have a wheat coating but it was the best burger I’ve ever had! Great gf roll!

They have a very helpful and thorough allergy menu, linked via QR code from the menu. Unfortunately they use shared fryers and a shared pizza oven, so cross-contamination is an issue. They note this up front, which is helpful and appreciated, but just be aware there are not many truly safe menu items if you are sensitive.

Pizzas were available on a GF crust. It was yummy- got the pepperoni and cheese. GF drink options had a raspberry seltzer on tap which was good. Good place for lunch but unless you want just pizza or wings I would come for dinner. I didn’t get sick.

The pub has been a staple in my life for the better part of the last three years. Since my recent diagnosis with celiac they have done everything to accommodate my dietary concerns. They even carry a gluten free IPA! It truly is our favorite spot to dine out. 10/10.

This establishment is absolutely NOT GF. The staff is not knowledgeable at all about their menu and I was given a regular gluten bun and the waiter insisted it was GF and I got very sick! I thought that this may have been from somewhere else I ate so I gave it a second try but on the next visit I explained I was celiac again and my plate came with the proper gf bun this time but with fries that are cross contaminated in their fryers. I do not suggest this establishment for anyone who needs to follow a gf diet because even if you order gf you may end up with a regular bun.

I have eaten here a lot over the past 3 years. I have never had an issue. I only got the pizzas though.
Yes
Limited options for gf customers.
They may be gf but they are most def not celiac friendly. The menu has changed in the years we have come. I’m currently sitting here watching my family eat while I’m sipping my wine. Last visit, not willing to chance it. Save yourself a trip.
The service was good and the food actually tasted great. Unfortunately ended up being very sick afterwards.
No
Not much selection. Others said there pizza was good but I wasn't a fan. Service was slow and the waiter had too many tables to keep up, wouldn't recommend.
Pizza is good. Thin crust but lots of cheese. Definitely not good if you have a wheat allergy or celiac. Cross contamination.
My husband got sick here a few years back. We went because of the reviews but the waitress was not knowledgeable at all and the gluten free options were limited. We should have took that as a warning. Go to Smoke Signals instead.
No
My waitress was not too sure on what was gluten free. When I asked what was good for gf and ordered the steak sandwich she didn’t mention if the fries were alright or not. The sandwich though was good minus the bun because it got soggy. The food wasn’t too warm either. Despite my review, I would still go back and try the pizza.
Yes
The gluten free flat breads are amazing. They also have gfree beer and buns for burgers
Yes
They do have gf options but items that are traditionally gf like the nachos are not gf.
Yes
We ate there twice and I never got sick- I'm very sensitive celiac. Great food. Good prices. Knowledgeable. Fries not made in dedicated fryer- my son had already eaten a few when waitress came back to tell us - thankfully he's not celiac. I recommend any celiac always ask at any restaurant.
Yes
Food was good but be warned that they do not have a dedicated GF frier. My girlfriend was looking forward to the wings but we had to pass since she is a highly sensitive Celiac.
No
Very accommodating; they get it. GF choices are burgers w/gf buns, gf flatbreads, salads, and maybe 1 or 2 other things. *protip- ask for GF flatbread with the smores. #YoureWelcome
Yes
Menu items clearly marked as to what is gluten free. However, waiter wasn't real great at explaining things-you can order a gf burger w/ gf bun, but the waiter just said the fries weren't gf and offered no substitutions (although salad available for additional fee). The burger was good. Did have omission bottled gf beer, nothing on tap or hard cider. Was super unimpressed by our waiter.
Yes
The waiter did a fantastic job at communicating with the kitchen to identify gf options. There are flatbread pizzas, and gf rolls. The pizza was outstanding!
My boyfriend and I were in Lake Placid for Labor Day weekend. I was thrilled to find Lake Placid Pub & Brewery. They have several items on their menu that are gluten free from salads to flatbread pizzas to GF rolls for their burgers. We were able to get a table right away and our service was fantastic. We had a great meal and a great experience!
Yes
After waiting an hour to get in, we waited an hour to get our food. During that time we never saw our server except when we chased her down on the other side of the room to ask about our food. When it arrived, the kale salad had kale stems which are incredibly hard to bite through and the gf pizza was lukewarm on a cold plate. Go early in the evening when the food and service is better.
A regular restaurant would get less of a review but this is a brewpub. I didn't expect much. They do not have much to offer but GF flatbread pizza. But the pizza was good. They just use Udi's crust but it was great. I had sausage and apple pizza. Was great. No GF beer except omission which isn't really GF. Still recommended.
