Lemongrass Cafe

I used to eat here pre-Celiac diagnosis. 2 decades later, I returned to Edmonton and found myself back at Lemongrass Cafe enjoying their food. I've had the soup, but my favorite is the Lemongrass chicken vermicelli. The char is amazing! I crave this place and eat here weekly. Amazing food!

My celiac wife ate here and was sick for just under a week. Server seemed to understand and still she received a gluten product. Whether miscommunication or negligence it is unacceptable to promote safe dining and have this occur. Allergy was explained to the server at least three times with questions regarding safe choices from the menu.

This is our go-to Restaurant for Vietnamese good. They have a gluten free menu and know what substitutions can be made. The staff are wonderful. We usually get either pho or bun, but their mango curry is also delicious when we want something more substantial.

Delicious Vietnamese food. The best vermicelli bowls in the city due to the fresh vegetables. They have a decent gluten free menu and will make most vermicelli bowls gluten free. High quality food at affordable prices. Good and friendly service.
