Offer steak with no seasoning, bbq chicken without the bbq, bourbon grilled salmon without the bourbon sauce, ribs without the sauce. According to menu, sour cream for a baked potato, and cinnamon sugar for a sweet potato are not gluten free either, salad safely with only oil dressing. Seriously lacking in gluten knowledge so they serve only plain tasteless boring food.
Service was good and server seemed knowledgeable. When we first walked in though, I asked to see the gluten free menu knowing they had one as I had seen it online. The manager handed me a very nice thick menu. The "gluten wise" (as they call it) menu was missing from it so I had to go off of the allergens lists which were fine, just not set up in terms of what meals you can eat. Ordered a steak as I figured any amount of cross-contamination with that meal would at least be small. Asked the server about the seasoning. She asked management about it as it was not listed an the allergens list. They said it was mostly just salt but recommended I leave it off so I did. I felt pretty confident in the salad. The server said the cook just puts lettuce in bowls and th en she adds the toppings so she said there would be no co-mingling of gloves in crouton bowls and salad bags. The ranch dressing was awesome. However when my steak came it was slathered in lemon butter. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind lemon butter at all. But usually butter for grill items is 1 bucket that cooks continually stick the same knife in repeatedly then slather over every grill item, some of which could be contaminated. Since they had been so good about the salad and the server had talked to the management about my meal beforehand, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Whoops. 30 minutes later I was popping Pepto to keep the symptoms at bay. It's unfortunate because the service would have been great if I had been served something that didn't make me sick.
I was going to eat here but realized upon looking at their menu that I wouldn't be able to have any seasoning or sauce on anything. even their tortilla strips are not gf. their only gf dressing is oil and vinegar. Very disappointed, we left and went to outback instead they have many more flavorful options including appetizers and a brownie for dessert.
I was impressed with the gluten free menu but then had the worst service and ended up leaving before we could eat..an hour after sitting down mind you. So disappointed with the lack of service and lengthy wait time.
The food was very bland and there weren't many choices for toppings (ex - the only gf salad dressing they have is oil & vinegar, and a baked potato only came with butter because their menu said not to order sour cream). The food was gf but I wasn't impressed for the price.
Great service. They work with u good
I have tried this restaurant twice since I've been gluten free. The first experience was bad and the second (2 years later because I thought I'd give them one more chance) was worse! Their "gf menu" is a joke--They include dairy items such as sour cream, so they clearly don't understand what gluten really is. They recommend ordering all items with no spice or sauce so everything is dry and bland. My second time there, I specifically ordered everything the way their gf menu suggested and they brought out a regular plate with their gluten filled rice pilaf! NEVER again will I try this restaurant!
I ate here quite awhile ago I think about a year but anyways it was the first place I went to that was gluten free after being diagnoses I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon and a potato it was so amazing!!!! Whenever I come here to visit family I will be eating here the staff was so nice and I explained everything and the manager brought my food very yummy
The GF menu says the sour cream has gluten. Something is terribly wrong with that.
Good menu and the staff were very knowledgeable of the gf items and sensitive to my needs.
I'm a waitress at this location so, whenever I eat here myself my boss makes my food carefully. I can even watch him so he remembers not to mix the utensils although, they are always careful. A lot o people didn't know what celiac disease was until I started working there so, hopefully I've educated everyone enough. Everyone is so sweet and will help you get anything you want.
Sadly, though the staff tried to be super helpful and understanding the lacking was in the kitchen somewhere, it only took half my meal to realize I was glutened. Day two now of feeling yucka. I wouldn't eat there again, if you DO have celiac I don't suggest this location. :/
Fantastic food and gluten free choices. Staff is amazing with service and knowledge.
