Told my server and her replacement that I celiac. Food was good but I am sick.
Extensive gf menu! Good food, good service. Nice to actually have the option of fruit as a side with a restaurant meal!
Absolutely great, the only place a Celiac can get Southern-Style food. Very extensive GF menu, knowledgable staff, and excellent barbecue! I'm a big fan of their Jambalaya, if you get the chance, stop in. 100% worth it.
Great meat and garlic mashed potatoes! They accidentally made my meal the regular way instead of GF. Luckily the waitress noticed and informed the manager. The manager came over to apologize and have me a free salad and desserts for my family while I waited for them to remake my meal GF. We were very satisfied.
Crave worthy! Their meat is melt in your mouth amazing! Their 3 barbecue sauces are deliciously GF and I've been stopping by to purchase their Memphis BBQ sauce for years. You must talk to the manager about your allergy needs as the waitstaff is woefully ignorant. But the manager knows what we can safely eat. Great place for a group. Children's menu is typical American full of gluten and dairy. And sadly we can't eat the cross-contaminated fries. Overall, what we can eat is quite delicious.
Great tasting meat at a good price that is completely gluten free
For the food alone, I'd love to give this place five stars; however, my dinner came out way wrong. I ordered off the gluten free menu and specified I wanted the gluten free grilled portobello sandwich (that was listed on the menu with no bun/bread), but my server brought it out on a huge bun. I immediately questioned if it was GF and my server noted that it didn't seem right as I did order off the GF menu. Granted, he took my plate back and made everything right quickly, but still. It was a tad bit concerning as I watched our server ask several other cooks and servers in the kitchen what the heck happened. My food, when corrected, was delicious though. Had Lucille's nailed my meal on the first try, I would have given five stars.
Large separate gluten free menu. Lots of choices. We got ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, veggies, corn on the cob, and watermelon. All of it was amazing! Even the BBQ sauces were gluten free! We did not get sick afterwards, so would definitely recommend to anyone with celiac.
Lucille's is great and their gluten free menu is very extensive. However, I've eaten there twice now (I thought I was sick from something else containing gluten the first time) and I've been very sick both times. I didn't want to be negative but I can't really trust this restaurant especially when I specify that I cannot eat gluten and end up getting sick anyway.
The server was very knowledgable about their gf menu and options. Immediately knew we did not want a bread basket. Offered me gf beer. I felt very safe dining here and will go back b
This location is not gluten free. Been multiple times and had noodles in the coleslaw. Avoid this place if you have celiac. Henderson location seems fine as I've never had a problem there.
Large GF menu, and all their BBQ sauce seems to be GF as well. Any sandwich can me made without a bun. Their staff was very helpful, when inquiring about a new appetizer she went out of her way to check if it was GF, and when it wasn't she went and found out exactly why. It was very friendly, and I have eaten here multiple times without a reaction.
Large GF menu, which will be given to you upon request. It seems like most of the food they serve is GF other than obvious items like bread and fried foods (cross contamination). Food was good and would have received 5 stars if my ice tea refill hadn't taken so long.
Absolutely fantastic and TONS of choices. All BBQ is gluten free...no you can't have fried chicken or biscuits BUT....you can have lots of other things. Mashed potatoes and greens are full of flavor and the pulled pork melts in your mouth! Ribs are fall off the bone yummy!
Large Gluten free menu. Good food and good portions.
