Just okay. I ordered a pasta alfredo dish and the pasta was quite limp and honestly a bit bland. I used to eat here before I went gluten free and the regular menu is much better than the GF one. Just not impressed with them.
I'm corn free as well as gluten free, so my options are even more limited. The chef comes out and talks through the menu with you. (The first chef was amazing, the second time, the chef spoke little English but understood my issues and his ingredients, so it was fine). All of their sauces are GF, so you do have lots of options. If you can eat the corn pasta, you pay the same price as normal eaters for the classic pasta dishes and get to take one home as well. This is the only restaurant I've been to in a long time that I have had no adverse effects after eating. They understand our needs and do a great job of accommodating!
horrible experience. no gluten free menu, chef comes out and talks to you but my pasta was from a box, i expected homemade, not one i could buy in the store. Chicken was ok..i can do better at home.. nothing to make me want to go back there. There are so many wonderful restuarants to choose from that i choose not to go back to one that was bad.
I have had only excellent experiences here. Always get to speak directly to the chef about my needs. Food is delicious and and I love that they have GF pasta (corn, last I checked). While I've really enjoyed everything I've had here, I would really like to see them expand their options. They only have one type of GF noodle so you can't really have things like spaghetti, angel hair, or varying types of noodles. It's always the same type of pasta, no matter what type the original dish would usually have had. Also not sure why they chose corn pasta since most GF people I know tend to prefer brown rice pasta. Oh well. All-in-all, I don't shy away from going here -- it's just not at the very top of my list since other places around have more options.
Phenomenal! Chef came out and offered gluten-free options. GF pasta us available upon request. Their second day take home option was excellent the next day. Impressed with chef's knowledge and suggestions.
They retrained their staff on allergies. So now the manager personally takes your order and the chef comes out to speak with you as well! The food is also amazing! I had raviolis for the first time in years thanks to Maggianos and they were so yummy! We love it here!
Received very good customer service. The Chef came to the table to take the gluten-fee order for our daughter who has celiacs disease. The waitress and staff were excellent and we had no issues with cross contamination.
Chef came out and talked to us about GF options. Staff brought out hot, and really good, GF rolls. Great lunch!
my coworkers and I had lunch to go today. I called and ordered the chicken rustic. when I got there i doubled checked my order and the guy said that it was gluten free. I ate my lunch and afterwards I had an upset stomach with cramping. I went all day feeling horrible, needless to say this will be my last time there.

I have celiac disease and my only did the manager walk me through my options and give me details about safe preparation, the chef also came out and did the same. Great staff, WONDERFUL food. Definitely recommend it

This is one of our favorites! Pleasing an Italian and a Celiac is hard to do but they do every time. Their chicken fettucini Alfredo and spaghetti on GF pasta is the best!
I was assured it was safe. The chef came out to speak to me. I was promised gf pasta. After two bites, I was told to stop eating. They gave me the wrong pasta. They comped our food, but it was too late. I am fairly certain that they won't make the same mistake anytime soon, but I am feeling miserable today and my trust has been damaged.
Good gf options. I wish they'd just list them out on a menu, though. Maggiano's has a policy of always having one gf soup option, which is a real treat - restaurant soup is generally impossible for gf patrons.
The only thing better than the staff was the food. They do not have a written GF menu but, as they explained, they are a scratch kitchen and could make most of the many of the items gluten free. They do have GF corn based pasta as a substitution for pasta. The food was great and the staff made us feel that we were in good hands. From the front manager to the chef, they made sure that our food was prepared carefully and without cross contamination.
Amazing food, great service. My only complaint is that they don't have GF bread!:(
Absolutely wonderful. Very good meal, waitress was attentive, house made chips were given in place of bread. I had lobster carbonara- just spectacular.
So delicious and our server Kristy was very kind and didn't make me feel like too much trouble. All of their sauces are gluten free and they have penne pasta that's gluten free. We also ordered the [super delicious] spinach artichoke dip gluten free. I was ridiculously impressed
I will say we really enjoyed our meal. We did the family style dinning with our daughters and were inundated with great gf food. Sausage and peppers, mussels, pasta and creme brûlée. My only disappointment was with being slightly misled. We called ahead to see what was gf and were told they can make anything gf. So we planned our meal, but the skeptic in me also made a second string menu...good thing I did. Mozzarella sticks? No. Raviolis? No. Lasagna? No. They have a gf penne and can put any of their sauces on it. So we had 3 different sauces on the penne and a chicken dish and were good to go. We were absolutely stuffed and my daughter had no issues so it was a success.

We ate there last night. The chef did NOT come out to our table. My husband ordered the veal marsala. We were told the sauce would be gluten-free. Well something was NOT gluten-free. He woke up around 3 this morning with stomach pains. We will NEVER go back there again. I am changing my review. I gave feedback on Maggiano's website Sunday night and a manager called us the next day!
I would have given it a 5 if I hadn't gotten sick the last 2 times I ate there. Until then it was always great.
Fabulous. The female manager was very reassuring and accommodating. She had the chef come to our table and talk to me. He was wonderful. My salad and gfree ravioli was delicious and best of all, I did not have a reaction! I will be back. The chef told me that I could have ice cream or Creme brûlée for dessert. I was too full to partake.
I've eaten here three times this last time they were just as careful taking my order. It was really good, but I noticed I was having a reaction. There was a piece of regular pasta stuck to the bottom of my plate. It looked like they didn't clean the plate very well. They didn't charge me, but it took for ever to get everyone their check and by then I was miserable.
NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY! We've been there many times and really liked the food (based on food it gets more than one star, but this a gluten free review). Unfortunately the last two times we've been there the gluten free meals have been contaminated with non-gluten free pasta (it's a different pasta shape so it is obvious)!! That can make people with celiac ill. They claimed to have spoken to the people behind the scenes after the first time it happened, but it happened again. They gave us our take-home meal but we gave that to a family member because we can't trust that is gluten free. Not sure what they can do to make us believe that they are serious about being gluten free. Not worth the risk!
The manager came to our table to take our Celiac order separate from the rest. They have GF penne pasta that they can make with almost any sauce. They boil s fresh pot of water and have separate cooking utensils. They can cook fish / chicken without breading. They do NOT have GF bread yet. They have GF creme brûlée and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
My mom and I are both gluten free and brought our whole family including my grandmother visiting from Italy here. The chefs were accommodating and so nice to come out and tell what the best gluten free options are. Whole family was impressed with my and my moms meal! Best part was my grandmother because usually she is an italian food snob but she gave this place 2 thumbs up INCLUDING my gluten free Lobster Catbonara! Gluten free pasta cooked to perfection
A favorite for my family, and not too expensive if you order from the pasta section. Not many issues here, but one time we found spaghetti in my brother's gf pasta. They were nice about it, they apologized and gave us a new order (free of course), but it's also very concerning that the food could get contaminated so easily. We have gone back, and we haven't had any issues since.
I am celiac and did not get sick. A staff person came to our table and confirmed my gluten free order and assured me it was being taken care of. We got a ceaser salad with the croutons on the side for my gluten eating companions and I enjoyed the gf penne with meat sauce as well as creme brûlée for dessert.

Although they do not have many for options for people who have celiac disease, the chef comes out and speaks to you if you have special requests. I always get the GF pasta with sauce. Their pasta tastes great.
They have GF pasta which can be substituted in any dish and all of their sauces are thickened corn starch so they are all GF. They also have GF appetizers and cream brûlée for dessert. Probably one of the best menus in terms of options I have come across.
My absolute favorite in the area. Only place I know of that offers gluten free rolls! They're from a local gf bakery and are INCREDIBLY delicious! I'd go there just based on the premise that they offer gluten free rolls like they do regular ones, and at no extra charge! I've only ever had one issue there, and it was for a take out order where they accidentally didn't mark my order as GF but luckily I was familiar enough with the dish because I get the same one all the time (rigatoni D), that I could tell it wasn't the right pasta. So I called them and they had someone deliver the right order to me! So nice. And the creme brûlée is amazing as well.
Got gluten full pasta when gluten free was ordered. My son was sick all night as a result. Waitstaff seem very under trained and did not have a clear understanding of what was GF. And what was not. Staff turns over so I wanted the next celiac customer to avoid this problem.
