Most of the menu is gluten free, just have to order rice instead! They have it listed on their menu. Very nice staff :)

This is one of my favorite restaurants in SLC now. The food and service are incredible, the prices are exceptionally low, and the market has inexpensive raw coffee beans! They can tell you what is gluten-free and how to order safely. Unfortunately, the teff bread does contain wheat, but GF dishes are served with steamed rice. I LOVE the vegetarian combination. I was worried about this restaurant being LGBT-friendly, but my husband and I have been in many times and always have courteous, friendly service.

delicious food! We ended up splitting the one person sampler plate and it fed us both to the point of full bellies! (and only $14) [: the staff was awesome and it's a very fun atmosphere!
The food is perfect. I am always craving it. The servers are informed and funny and efficient. Had a three person variety plate for five people, and I left with a full box with like, 3 more meals. It's the best.
They are working on a gf injera but nothing available yet. Meats were well seasoned and spicy!
Everything is gluten-free except the injera bread. The friendly and knowledgable staff offered to swap rice for the bread. We tried the Taste of Mahider plate for two which included about a dozen different meat and vegetarian dishes. Everything was delicious, and the price ($12 per person) was very reasonable. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy and shares space with a small market, but the food was so good that we will definitely return again.
