I called this location and they only have one sauce that's gf
When we started going to Mama's about 6 months ago, everything seemed fine. We are Celiac, and are very sensitive, and when Mama's continued to deliver on the GF promise we continued to go. That lasted up until about 2 months ago, when something just changed. New chef, new recipes, we're not sure. No matter what we order, specifying GF, we get very sick. It seems like Mamas is now just cooking up their normal recipes and slapping a GF sticker on them.
Plenty of GF options. I spoke to the manager before eating here. Although they do not use seperate cookware, they do clean everything before cooking GF stuff. Even ordering for delivery once the driver told me the manager made sure the kitchen cleaned everything before cooking my food. I have never gotten sick eating here.
Fresh, friendly and VERY SAFE! Gluten Free menu is one of the biggest we've seen and the staff is well trained. Lettuce wraps and Mongolian dish were very good. Portion size and price were both a pleasant surprise, too. Download the app to earn points if you plan on returning. Can't wait to go back!
I love Mama Fu's! The gluten free options taste amazing and staff is always friendly!
I've been to this location twice and both times was served meals with tofu in it. (Their tofu is not GF.) I was very clear when ordering that we had severe allergies. The first time the manager did comp my meal. The second time the manager have us $5 off coupons for "when we come back."
My husband is a Celiac and we decided to try Mamu Fu's when we found out they had a Gluten Free menu. We were surprised with all the choices that were available. He ate the lettuce wraps and pad Thai and gave it 5 stars. There are great GF lunch options and they also had GF beer (Angry Orchard). They accidentally brought out the wrong dish for my husband, but the server asked if he was Celiac and promptly corrected it because the dish had tofu in it (which is not GF). We were glad he took the time to notice it and have it corrected as it could have been a bad day had he eaten it. The owner came by our table to check on us and she told us that the staff is trained in Celiac disease. A lot of restaurants may have GF menus, but the staff isn't always trained on what being GF actually means and what could happen to a Celiac if they consume it. We both loved the food and thought they had a good price point. Friendly, helpful staff, clean environment and they even had San-J GF soy sauce. They also deliver! We will be adding this restaurant to our list of Celiac friendly restaurants!
Good selection of GF items. Staff training & service needs work. Food is not great.
Ordered GF General Chicken takeout. My hubby picked it up & when I opened it at home, it had no sauce. Nada. Zilch. When I called they said that their dishes can be made with 'normal' ingredients but they can't include sauces. Misleading GF menu. Be sure to ask for some sort of sauce when you order or you'll receive steamed chicken & veggies with no flavor.
Great gluten free menu and food is tasty!
The staff working the register are knowledgable about how to enter the order into the system to ensure it's GF. I'm very sensitive, and I've never had a problem eating here. GF menu is available, I believe, online.
Great gluten free menu selections! Be sure to ask your server for gluten free soy sauce- any soy on the table will contain wheat.
Very healthy and fresh, I love eating here
Awesome gluten free menu!
I, along with various other people, was served tw regular food despite asking for gluten free. I got very sick. I called the manager, calmly, to point it out and instead of listening he spent the next 5 minutes pontificating on April being gluten awareness month, etc and stating that while he didn't prepare the food personally, he was sure this wasn't the source of my problem...despite this being the only meal I ate today. Another lady had a similar problem at the same time. Their kitchen has problems. Avoid at all cost.
