Mancino's Pizza and Grinders

We were staying at the Little River Casino and there wasn't a gluten-free menu available at any of their restaurants. We called Mancino's and asked about the gluten free pizza. We were told the normal disclaimer that they are careful but can't guarantee no contamination. We got two of the pepperoni gluten-free pizzas. They were very good pizzas! Best of all- we didn't get sick!! We will definitely order pizzas there the next time we are on vacation.

I had a fantastic grinder on a GF bun, see picture. No issues. Great job Mancinos!!

Happy to report that this Mancino's does have a gluten-free menu now. Everything was clearly labeled on the regular wall menu if it was gluten-free. They had a wide variety of GF grinders and plus a 10" pizza available. Some of the grinders toppings are not GF (like the meatballs), but they were clearly marked that way on the menu. Although we generally don't miss having bread anymore, it was nice to have a GF grinder for a change.

I get their gluten free pizza often and I do not have any reaction. The pizza is really good too!

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

The girders were absolutely delicious! The bread was soft and fluffy and didn’t have the grittiness that most GF breads have. My favorite was the steak, which had a nice amount of meat in it. We are only intolerant so we can’t speak to the full cross contamination for celiacs, but as for us everything was perfect. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about items. Lost anything can be made gluten free. Will go again and try the pizza next!

I called to make an order and our order was split between gluten free and gluten. I told them we had a few with gluten allergies and he said, “not from us you don’t.” I then asked if they had cauliflower crust and he said they didn’t have gluten free crust. (That was not my question) He then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and said we must have gotten cut off….knowing we hadn’t been. He said that he hung up on me because I kept talking and he didn’t want to argue with me. I was not arguing one bit. I was clarifying and ASKING if they have cauliflower crust. He then hung up again. It would have been helpful for him to tell me if there were ANY gf options such as salads or grinders. I won’t be supporting this business.

Very accommodating to gluten free and dairy free dietary restrictions. The grinder I had was one of the best I've had. And the prices are very reasonable.
