We really wanted to love this place after reading all the great reviews, but my celiac daughter got sick after we ate some of their gluten free pizza. Such a bummer.

Maria’s gf subs are consistently safe and taste amazing. They are the best gf subs I have ever had and I make sure to frequent there when we are in Erie.

So good! I got a sub with turkey and cheese. They told me about all of their safe procedures and they wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil before they put it in the oven to toast. The manager said they’ve been doing gluten free for 10 years! They also have gf pizza crust.

I appreciate how much they do to keep the gluten free items free of cross contamination... But the food was disappointing. Not tasty at all... Bland pizza and pretty much everything tasted like it came from a can or jar.

Waiting on my food order so can't review the quality of food yet, but the young man working is very pleasant and answering all of my questions.

Good pizza and sandwiches, I actually met another person with celiac while eating here, and we talked about how it can be difficult to find good GF food, but this was a great find.

wonderful!! They take many precautions to keep your items gluten free. We had a buffalo chicken pizza and combo sub. So happy we found this gem on our road trip. I will try to come here again for sure!! If you have celiac this is the place to go.

What an all around great experience, I highly recommend to all. Very happy they accommodate people with celiac disease, I was able to order pizza and it was delicious!!! My family ordered buffalo pizza and also the chicken bacon ranch pizza and they all enjoyed. The staff were all so pleasant and made us all feel very welcome, I'm not use to such amazing service.

Clean, low key, restaurant, serving pizza, subs, and antipasto on their GF menu. Had dinner there this evening after a long, trying day of travel. The sub and salad I had were both excellent. I would have loved the addition of mayo on my sub, but was too starving and enjoying it too much to ask for it. The GF sub bun was the best I've ever had, and was huge for a 6" sub. I like how they bring in their regular pizza crusts pre-made from another bakery, and they are kept contained to reduce contamination. The work area was very clean. The gentleman (owner?) showed me where he gets the GF crusts, and it's definitely NOT Udi's, so I'm excited to try it. (Udi's is ok, it's just that's all we seem to get in restaurants.) There was a very polite, energetic, efficient, and enthusiastic young man who was running the front, taking orders, phone calls, etc, and serving. He seemed to know most people by name who walked in, so they seem to get a lot of regulars - I take that as a good sign. My order was a particular with no gluten, no cheese, and the person with me ate gluten. He got everything right. Wish I could include a picture of my sub. We will go back while we are in town. I don't expect any sequelae, if you kwim, but I'll update if anything changes.

This restaurant is very conscientious about preventing cross contamination even to the point that all their "regular" (read gluten) Pizza crusts are made off-site so flour won't be lingering in the air. My gf pepperoni pizza was served on a piece of foil on its pizza tray. The pizza on an Udi's crust with was very tasty after a day of walking at Presque Isle.

Very good pizza and sub buns. Some of the better GF I've had. Separate tray and foil for GF. I highly recommend.

Great pizza! Good crust! Cook on separate pizza tray. Subs are soooo good!! The sub rolls are delicious! It's a 12" sub cut in half. Great prices! Highly recommend!!!

Had a gf pizza. Was excellent. Crust was perfect. Not like most gf pizzas that taste like cardboard. Staff was very helpful and friendly. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely come again.

So glad we found this place! First off, the info on their website shows that they really understand GF and CC, which made me immediately more comfortable. Second, they have GF sub rolls and can make many of their sandwiches GF (in addition to the GF pizzas and salads). Such a treat for my family to have great GF subs!

This is the best gluten free pizza in Erie PA. Really friendly staff too. . great plus!

Good gluten free pizza. Staff is very knowledgeable about cross contamination, and the menu details all the steps they take to ensure the pizza stays gluten free. Added bonus is that this is the first place I've seen that charges less for GF pizza than regular (it's 9", compared to 12" regular, and is only $6.75 at the time of this review.)
