So delicious! Everything is gluten free and many products are diary free too. Higly recommend!
I stopped here twice during a trip to SF! They have so many delicious options. They staff was beyond nice! One staff member remembered me for the previous day and because they were closing up he gave me 2 free items to try! I will be back next time I am in SF!
Love their bakery, it's only a 4 star because it's so expensive!
Amazing, delicious, cute, friendly and knowledgable staff! 100% Gluten Free. Sooo many options to chose from but you cant go wrong with anything you get here. Yummyyy!
Great selection of GF baked goods. All that I tried tasted excellent and it was well worth the trip.
Amazing baked goods!
The staff seemed a bit pushy and scattered. The sandwiches were plain white bread sandwiches and at 10.50 each I would have expected more. I was not impressed nor will I return, I'll brown bag it first.
Absolutely fabulous. Just grabbed a treat after checking into our hotel. Pumpkin Whoopie Pie that is completely gluten free. Delicious!!! I will be back tomorrow at breakfast time.
I contend for bread this is the best gf bakery in the US!!! Go ahead, have a sandwich, have two. Baguette is so good you'll fear it isn't GF. They also do wonderful gf/df!!! I come straight from the airport to stock up! Everything is good (I can't vouch for cake, O don't eat it).
Had an excellent open-faced baguette with goat cheese, tomato, avocado and basil oil - delicious!!
There are no words to describe the deliciousness of this shop! I don't understand how they do it, but everything tastes amazing! Just wish there was one in NY! Met someone on line at the kiosk and they said they flew in from Colorado just to come to this shop! They ship 85% of their products so we will certainly be trying that option!
When Mariposa started, there wasn't much gf stuff out there and it was so exciting to hear about a whole bakery to choose from. But the gf universe has expanded and improved so much and Mariposa just hasn't kept up. In fact, by today's standards it isn't very good at all. As in, you can get better cake out of several brands of cake mix available at many grocery stores these days, to say nothing of all the great gf bakeries out there nowadays. It's pretty disappointing.
We really enjoyed eating here every morning of our stay. The celiac twins were thrilled to be able to have anything they pointed at, and especially loved the pumpkin muffins. Hubby and I, who do not need to be GF, loved the smoky salmon breakfast sandwich. I miss that sandwich! It was lovely to grab a GF breakfast and some coffee from another booth and eat on the boardwalk outside while watching the ferries come in.
Amazing! So many GF/DF options I was challenged to make a decision. Great for bfast, lunch, snacks and dessert. Worth a trip to the Ferry Building.
Amazing array of cookies, cakes, and pastries. Also offer sandwiches for lunches. Everything is gf; many products are also dairy free.
Best cinnamon roll ever. We visited in October and I'm still thinking about it.
Yes!! Must visit! Have a chocolate croissant
This place is awesome! We went 3 times on our recent trip to San Fran. We are gluten free and dairy free and we had so many choices. Everything we tried was delicious. Our favorites were the cinnamon rolls and the sandwiches (the California and the turkey/veggie one). Loved the muffins, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, pecan pie, etc. This is a must if you're in San Fran. The only downside is the staff was not very friendly (at any of our 3 visits). Perhaps because the location is so busy. I'd say get there early for the best choices. Highly recommend! We are very sensitive to minute amounts of gluten and we did not get sick. Loved this place! There is no place to sit down right at the kiosk. But, there is a big mall with other stores and tables. We ate outside and/or took ours to go.
My son with Celiac Disease almost cried when he saw everything he could get there! He said the Cinnamon Bun was so moist and the cupcake was the best GF cupcake he had tasted! Thank you for serving yummy GF!!!
Everything sold here is gluten- free and delicious. I've been back 3 times in my 2-day visit to SF. Sandwiches are delicious, cakes are pretty good and the flaky pastry on the ham and cheese hot pocket that I had for breakfast this morning was excellent. Trying to work out if I have time to go back before I head to the airport as there were so many things I still want to try!
Excellent!! Great tasting bread, can barely tell its GF. The dessert was yummy too! My gluten eating friends even bought some things and they said it tasted as good as gluten. :)
Gluten free croissants!
Amazing gluten free. Try the ham and cheese pocket. Desserts are great. Good luck deciding- no worries you just can't go wrong. We hit this spot twice in 3 days. Cake is to die for and you cannot tell it is gluten free.
This place is heaven. If there is anything at all you miss eating, it's worth trying here. My only problem was that I had the urge to hoard one of everything. Fortunately, as far as gluten free bakeries go, this one isn't too expensive and is exceptionally delicious. Everything I had has good texture, too.
Unbelievable. Can't even believe that I can eat a croissant, bagel, and literally all of the things I can't find anywhere else!!!!!!!!!
Awesome gf baked goods! I highly recommend the penguin, the baguette, and the chocolate chip cookies (soft, buttery, the best I've ever had)!! The graham crackers are ok, but I'd love to try the croissant!!
All the flakey chewy yumminess you remember before you went gf. "The stop" in sf if you have celiacs.
Mariposa Baking Company kiosk lets you stock up on gluten-free baked goods galore. The sour Cream Coffee Cake we picked up was among the best we've ever had - with or without gluten in it! The polar bear crèmefi lled cupcakes were wonderful, especially considering they were dairy-free and nut-free as well. To enjoy the entire line of baked goods, you can trek across the bay bridge and visit the company's fl agship bakery in oakland.
Everything is indeed gluten-free, and the options are very broad. I had a ham and cheese pocket which was reminiscent of the days before gluten-free. It was a trip down memory lane. All sorts of muffins and cookies and you can even do a special order lunchif you happen to walk up. This is in the ferry building on the water.
The best gluten free bagel I've had. And I've had....a lot of them. They also have awesome sandwich rolls and discounted day old items!
So happy to find this place. Delicious breakfast and lunch foods.
got the soft pretzels, so yummy!
The most amazing place ever!! I live near NYC and I still haven't found a GF place that also caters to other allergies (dairy, soy, etc) and still tastes amazing. This plae is the real deal. The pumpkin whoopie pies and cinnamon rolls were to die for.
the best. celiac friendly. delicious baked goods.
Probably the best GF baked goods I've ever had.
So good I came home to order more! Great bagels and muffins. Highly recommend the croissants! Love the food and the company!
Bought a 4 pack of cinnamon rolls that weighed approximately 37 lbs and trudged them all the way back to my car. Went to a giants game. Lugged them to my hotel, and then discovered that they are by far the best GF cinnamon rolls I've had since going GF. They even have that wet/gooey texture in the innermost part of the roll (get your mind out of the gutter). Now I'm kinda bummed I didn't buy two packs. And I don't live in SF.
Regular stop when we're in the area. The Rye bread is closest in flavor to the "real" thing. Highly recommended.
Can you say cinnamon rolls? Yum! Arrive early in the am if trying to pick up items for the holidays (christmas, thanksgiving).
Awesome choices. Danish was fabulous. Bread soft and delicious. Pretzel needs a bit more salt but also yummy ate the gobbler sandwich and the bread was sooooo good. Sampled the pumpkin pie --also very good. I will be ordering from them online.
wonderful gf sandwich.so nice to have a sandwich for once!there's nowhere to sit though as it's just a take out kiosk.reasonably priced although portions not very big.i had the tuna melt which was just half a sandwich.this was strange seeing as someone posted a photo here of the tuna melt with 2 half sandwiches.that was six months ago though so maybe they have made their portions smaller?it was nice not to worry about cross contamination.
Absolutely wonderful and all gluten free.
tastes great, super nice staff, knowledgable and they ship... we are from ga, great to know!
AMAZING!! Dedicated GF products, VERY tasty. a smidge pricey, but totally worth it. Had a tuna melt and Tons of baked goods. will be back this trip and every time I am in San Fran.
Try the Rosemary bread rolls! Many Gluten free and vegan options.
I go here every weekend morning after swimming. Such a great selection available to Celiacs!
awesome! came through on a morning run. got a turnovee, cinn roll & cookie. amazing and flaky turnover (poptart thing). the cinn roll was full of flavor, fluffy and tearable.came back through before they closes for the night and got a piece of cheesecake($4 or $5), more turnovers ($4) and a cranberry/orange bread($7.50) . a little spendy, but so worth it!
Great bagel! Still soft the next day, and was great without being toasted.
All hail Mariposa! I live for their Italian salami sandwiches, brownies, and I always get a baguette to go. If non GF people eat anything from Mariposa and say it would be better with flour then they're lying.
Very good! The whole grain bagel was so fresh and soft. I bought a box of cream filled chocolate cupcakes that tasted just like hostess. I love this place!
loved it! pigged out on bagels, cookie, cinnamon roll (my favorite), and cheese danish. all so good considering everything was GF.
So delicious and everything is gluten free. Love the tuna salad sandwich, the donuts are amazing. The garlic bagel was awesome. I don't love their bread though. The cinnamon rolls were too hard. So is the bread.
I know their chocolate chip cookies must be good because they were sold out when I tried to get one. I went for the walnut and truffle brownie instead which was rich and delicious. I'll definitely come back here to try their freshly baked gf bread, bagels, and sandwiches.
Favorite part of San francisco. I don't want to go home because they have the best gluten free food here!!!
Fresh baked goods - yum! Couldn't choose so we bought three kinds.
