Be careful. Spoke with manager to order my meal, and he said the broccoli is cooked in their pasta water. I had salmon cooked separately with butter, salt, pepper. And broccoli as a side which was boiled in a separate pot for me. It was very good meal, but sure glad I asked the mgr about GF meal options.

Marlows is usually a restaurant that I can trust. However this location is NOT celiac safe. They do not have a dedicated fryer and fried items where on the “GF” menu. We told the waitress about me having celiac and we even spoke to a manager beforehand. I ordered shrimp and grits, they brought it out with someone’s burger. That was an immediate red flag and my husband mentioned it to the waitress. She just said that she put gf on the ticket and said that it was safe. She was very ignorant on how cross contamination works and she kept insisting that it was fine. She even sent the manager over again to tell us that it was safe and to argue that it couldn’t be cross contaminated. It highly bothered my husband and I. They are not the ones who have to deal with the pain afterwards, they obviously have no clue about celiac disease and are trying to act like they do. Unfortunately I let hunger get the best of me and I ate it. This is one of the worst times I’ve been glutened in my life 🤢 Definitely NOT celiac safe. Highly disappointed in the manager and staff.

Server told me half the gf menu is ok for celiac, the other half isn’t; meaning their fryer isn’t dedicated so steer clear of anything fried. My server was very knowledgeable and food was great- got shrimp and grits and green brûlée for desert.

Their Gluten Free menu should actually be called “gluten friendly” the fryer is cross- contaminated. We tried to eat there on multiple occasions but I always got sick. I’ve stopped trying to eat here.

Very good food, limited but decent options and separate gf sensitive menu. The waitress was able to explain their fryer is not dedicated, but on the menu, they differentiate between “gluten free” and truly celiac safe.

Super disappointed when I got there and saw that their gluten-free menu has gluten containing items. I lost confidence that they care and would suggest going elsewhere.

Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a lettuce wrap and explained my allergy. Sandwich came out with a regular bun. I then again explained with great detail and emphasized the severity of my allergy. They reassured me it would be remade and apologized. I poured salt and pepper all over the top of the chicken breast to make sure it would be a new one before they took it without their knowledge. They brought me a new sandwich and said we made sure this was brand new and apologized again. Lifted up the lettuce and there was the mountain of salt and pepper. Clearly does not take gluten free or celiac seriously. Sent back my food and ate somewhere else for dinner.
