Great lunch, but definitely not celiac friendly. I asked the waitress for a gluten-free menu and she looked at me like she didn’t know what I was talking about. She offered me some vegetarian options. I said that I read they had a dedicated fryer and she told me they stopped using it once Covid hit. Good thing I packed a separate lunch for my celiac daughter just in case.

Dedicated fryer-confirmed by the chef. My daughter had GF tenders and fries or lunch. The service was 7/10. Staff had some confusion about several orders for our group of 8. The Inn and restaurant are lovely. Good for a long lunch with friends.

Disappointing. Ordered a simple burger and it came out cold and raw in the middle. Gross and not acceptable. My husband ordered meatloaf and another meal was brought to the table.
Went here for dinner last week based on other reviews and was not disappointed. We had a perfect table by the window. Our server was great and made a few recommendations based on my requirements, g/free and dairy free . I had the roasted chicken with quinoa and vegetables. We were warned it would take about 20 minutes and it did but we weren’t in a rush. The food was very good. Would definitely go back. Even had some sorbet on the menu for a gluten free dessert.

I am so impressed - they had gluten-free rolls, and gluten-free bun and a dedicated fryer, and mentioned that they also just rolled out gluten-free chicken tenders. This was one of the most “normal” meals we’ve had out to eat since my daughter’s diagnosis in October!

They were SO great with my gluten sensitivities and lactose intolerance at Marsh Tavern. Our waitress really got my concerns, and they even brought over a perfectly-warmed Udi's roll for me to have while my husband ate his way through their bread basket :) I was able to special-order a combo of foods that fit my GF needs, including fries and grilled rock shrimp. Not enough food for the price (I had to pretty much have a second meal afterwards), but beautifully-made and delicious. Try their homemade sorbet - a friendly-across-the-GF-and-DF-board delicacy - especially if they have the raspberry apricot. Better than Ben and Jerry's sorbets!
Great historic tavern atmosphere. Several naturally gluten free options, but not substitutions to make an entree gluten free. No ciders available, but did stock one gf beer. No gf rolls for burger, but did serve lovely gf dinner rolls with "bread box" starter. Our waiter was okay, but moderately flippant about our needs.
