There are not many items at all. I was told even the ice cream was not safe. Would try another place next time.

The staff was knowledgeable and the menu was very well marked. I got a hamburger with a gluten free bun. There was also appetizers, salads, and a few selections of entrees to select from.

Nice selection sandwiches, meals and appetizers. Unfortunately they use the same old dry crumbly Udi's roll that most places offer.
This place was just ok. The GF menu was pretty limited, mostly entrees stripped of any gluten containing ingredients, so basically just salads and grilled chicken breast. No rolls. The service was slow. However, no ill effects from the meal so I'd still say it's celiac friendly, just be aware of the limited options.

Wow! I was so happy to find this restaurant while traveling this past weekend. The GF menu was so much bigger than I'm used to. (& I live right outside of NYC) ...Burgers were not listed on it but are safe if bun less or with the GF bun. Staff was knowledgeable and when the waitress wasn't sure she found the manager who answered all questions. I travel here every year for a wrestling tournament with my boys and am already looking forward to eating here next year!

reasonably good. my son lived the gluten free bun. they seemed to be versed in gluten free.

Very friendly staff. They have a separate gluten free menu you can ask for. Made a note on the order right away when said gluten allergic. The burgers were great. Only reason didn't give 5 stars is they don't do their fries in a dedicated fryer. They do however have house made potato chips that are on the gluten free menu that were awesome. This place used to be a Damon's and we found it from a review under Damon's stating the name had just changed. Can't say if it's Celiac Friendly.
This used to be Damon's grill - same interior and might even be the same menus. They have a gluten free menu and the waitress seemed to take it seriously when I explained that my daughter's food needed to be gluten free or she would get sick. My daughter had the chipotle bacon ranch chicken sandwich with a baked potato and really enjoyed it. She thought the bread was great and she didn't get sick so thumbs up and we will return! Oh and their Asiago ranch dressing is very yummy!

We just stopped here on our way home to NY from SC on vacation. They have changed their name to Matty's Sporthouse just recently in July, and are still working on the GF menu. Our son has celiac and thought there were a lot of options for him. He had a pulled pork sandwich on a GF bun and applesauce (no dedicated fryer for their French fries or house made chips...yet!). We had a waiter who was very knowledgable helping us out, and even brought our son the GF dessert they don't even have on the menu yet! Great experience! Check them out at www.mattyssporthouse.com
I love Damon's. The gluten free menu needs updated but there are a lot of choices. They have Udi's buns so you can eat most of the burgers and other sandwiches. The ribs are also excellent. I have never gotten sick and have eaten here 20+ times. Best to ask the server about gluten free to talk with the kitchen, rather than relying on the menu.
