Had a great lunch there. Decent menu options for gluten free. Price wasn't spiked for gluten free either!! Gluten free bun tasted fresh--not frozen and quickly thawed. The only reason they get 4 stars is because the cool forgot my mushrooms to my mushroom and Swiss burger. 10 hours later no reaction. Would highly recommend.

Celiac's beware! The "gluten free" menu has next to nothing on it, staff is not knowledgable about contamination and even though I thought I had ordered simply enough to avoid any trouble, I still obviously had some sort of contamination because I was soooo sick after!

Not good. Ordered salad, steak, potato. Salad came out with croutons and breadstick after asking for it without -- server immediately took it back where a different server brought out "new" one. It was the exact same salad with them just picked off ... except the ones under top layer of lettuce. Fortunately saw it before eating and sent it back a second time. This time my server made a fresh one himself. Then main course ... potato was completely brown with half of it completely rotted and smelly. I'm shocked it was actually served. Our server was fantastic -- everything else was awful.

This is a dangerous place for celiacs. They no longer have a gluten free menu, and they use butter in everything.
My wife found no sides to order except plain baked potato, and even though the staff was told about requirements, the salad came out with bread stick.
She ended up with cross-contamination poisoning and in a lot of pain.

They do have a gluten free menu which is much better than the usual "list of allergens" we've all seen. But options are limited and they didn't seem willing to accommodate my special requests. Also they have NO gluten free beer.
Yes
Dedicated GF menu with several good options. Some other options are GF when you get them with no bun or switch things out. Staff is friendly and willing to work around substitutions.
We go to max and Erma’s everytime we come out to Pittsburgh for penguins games and my girlfriend says they have the best gluten free buns she’s ever had.

I have been twice now and it will absolutely be a regular location for me now that I know I have celiac disease! They have a separate menu for gluten-free items with a wide variety of items off of their main menu. Not like most places where it feels super limited. Reasonably priced. mashed potatoes are delicious!!! The staff is super great even when they're busy!

Our waitress was phenomenal... Cassie was her name. She knew all about Celiac disease. Made sure my food was prepped and cooked just right for me! I'm allergic to potatoes & mushrooms, have a thyroid disease so need to avoid nightshade as well. She was totally on it! She went above and beyond for me. And I appreciated it very much.

They have a “gluten sensitive” menu and gluten free buns for burgers. I ordered a salad from this menu and clearly specified gluten free, it arrived with a big fat breadstick right on top.
