They have some great options, like the savannah chicken salad.
Added gluten free bread a couple of months ago : ) Great selection, good service, nice portion sizes and consistently delicious! We eat here at least twice a month and never had a reaction!
We had a good experience here. We asked about the gluten free menu, and the manager went and got it for us right away. They didn't have any gf bread that day, but I had nachos and hubby had a baked potato with cheese and bacon. The manager made our food himself, and let us know that he had changed his gloves. We didn't get sick, and we would eat here again. It's not gourmet, but we felt safe.
has an actual gf menu. reasonably priced food of good quality.
Gf soups, salads, potatoes, sandwiches!
They have gluten free bread. You can get almost any sandwich with gluten free bread. I love the Arnold Palmer (Sweet Tea & Lemonade).
Great selection of gluten free options. Will also sub out and bread for gluten-free bread.
Absolutely disappointed in their treatment. Given the GF menu and after ordering from it, the salad I ordered was littered with Croutons. After taking it to the front and explaining my situation, they take the salad. The 'new' salad they brought back was the exact same salad with just more meat and no croutons on it. They are completely unaware of the consequences this will cause. Won't return again.
I am very disappointed that they don't have a gluten free bread option. Since I can't do a sandwich from there I usually do a potato or salad. Their potatoes are awesome and there is plenty for me and my daughter to share one, even if I do a half spud and salad. Hope they get some GF bread soon!
Love getting the half portions of a spud and salad! Only downfall is when they run out of spuds.
They have amazing sandwiches and sides are awesome. I really like how the employees go out of their way to please you and give you the right answer. They will even tell you why it's gluten free. They have many choices.
Good GF veggie baked potato.
Many options to choose from and service was great.
Tried to eat there. Management didn't have a GF menu and seemed unsure what to do.
This is not a GF place to EAT. Staff unaware of celiac disease, order salad and they had crackers on the side. Not many options available to eat -- very disappointed! NO GF BREAD!
asked for a gluten free menu and they didn't know what I was asking for. if this store has one they need to train their employees about it. I t was the only store of the chain I have visited in that had no clue what I was talking about. I left and ate somewhere else.
They had no gluten free menu available, we ended up going to their website to find out what was safe to eat. Who knows what the prep was like for cross contamination. The staff was friendly but didn't have a clue. They brought us crackers with our food.
Was serious about making sure we order GF went the extra mile
OMG, overpriced and terrible food. I asked for a gf menu and the lady at the counter handed me a single sheet of paper with allergen info. While they do have bread, she seemed very uncertain of managing cc, so I ordered a baked potato. It was the driest and nastiest potato I have ever had. And it was over $7. (granted it was large) I sent my food back. They did give me a refund. (My husband who could order glutenous food did and said his was non good either.) Definitely avoid
Very limited menu but very good salads! Nice and clean establishment and polite staff.
No knowledge what gluten was. No menu. Told to look it up. Cashier did pull it up on her phone. After I informed them on it, staff was told go change gloves. Still had cross contamination issue. Luckily I had benadryl on hand. Never had issue at any other McAllisters with same order. Also potato had a large bad spot. Not cool. Will not return.
So comforting to know that others take your questions and concerns seriously. The manager (had a red shirt on?) was kind enough to make my meal herself. So much anxiety goes into traveling when you have Celiacs and she went above and beyond! I had a Spud Max.
