Great food, fast service and no one flinched or gave me the deer in the headlight look when I asked about gluten free. Will update review if I have a reaction within 24 hours.🧐plus it was, in my opinion, a little heavy on the salt.

We returned after our 1st experience was so memorable. If you haven't already eaten at noon, be sure you arrive before so you too enjoy fully! Food (pulled pork w/ several sauces & cole slaw), service, and their American spirit are exceptionally good!

Probably the best customer service ever. BBQ was delicious and lots of sauce to choose from. Love this place.

Asked for the manager, as was recommended. I ordered the chopped brisket and fries. He was very knowledgeable and even gave an extra sample of sliced brisket so I could see the difference and pointed out which sauces have gluten. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing! I have Celiac Disease, so preparation of food to avoid cross contamination is serious to me. The manager Steve was excellent about the accommodations. He prepared our food himself and advised us about the safe sauces. I would recommend asking for the manager to make sure the prep is done correctly, because they are fairly new to the process. They have an allergy menu online and a gluten free menu in the restaurant. I loved the pulled pork and the jalapèno sausage. I will return, and you should all try it. :)

got the pulled pork and french fries. only got the fries because reviews on here recommended. I asked the lady at the counter if they were made in a dedicated fryer and she looked at me like I had 6 heads so I have to literally say "do you fry anything else in the same fryer with the fries" to get an answer, I then overheard her making fun of me for ordering gluten free. the pulled pork was dry and I wasn't a fan of either of the sauces I tried. the fries were greasy but the best park of the meal. probably won't return. on a side note they also tried to put a non gluten free side in the same box as my food (that someone I was with ordered) honestly suprised I didn't get sick

The staff go above and beyond to make sure your food is prepared and handled separately. I didn't have to ask, that's just their policy! Food was delicious and love the National Anthem at 12:00.

The manager was there when we arrived. They explained food items available, changed gloves, cutting board and brought her food. No issues delicious food. Definitely would go again.

excellent. .fast friendly clean, and gluten free menu..the best fries..love the way they honor our military. .we went when in Ft Myers and just discovered Tampa has one..we are fans..great flavor and moist chicken, ribs and pulled pork..we'll be back

What an amazingly patriotic restaurant and wonderful gluten free menu, too! Come at noon like we did and your are in for a surprise! All but one BBQ sauces were GF and all is served ala carte. 3 of us chose the delicious Pulled Pork and my hubby & I split a GF Cole Slaw which was kinda bland, but I'm all about the integrity of the GF standard. We'll definitely look for other Mission BBQs as they're hard to beat. Their food, patriotism, attentive & friendly service sure draw the crowds!

Super knowledgeable staff and well-versed in celiac, staff has family member with celiac diagnosis. Has a dedicated GF fryer for fries. Very lovely experience and people here. Tastes great :)

My daughter has celiac and has had no reaction. The employees make sure to communicate that there is a gluten issue when preparing her food. Dedicated fryer for fries!

Mission BBQ was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great and I could even have french fries. I would definitely go back.

This is my second visit to Mission in 6 months. I don't recall what I ordered in December bit it didn't bother me. This trip I ordered the smoked hamburger without a bun (no gf option) with mashed potatoes. This will be a regular visit when I'm in DE.
