One of the few places where my husband can eat in Frederick. When it's gluten free they pay a lot of attention typically And do a good job of not cross-contaminating If there's ever any question as to whether something is gluten free they tended to research it for me.

June 20, 2023- As always at MIssion BBQ, gluten-free, safe and delicious meal. Texas Twang is not GF but all other sauces and their mustard are safe for Celiac sufferers. This location has a gluten free fryer, so YES... French fries.

Staff was knowledgeable about cross contamination. I guess they open your take out containers to make sure you have the right order, and staff member changed her gloves prior to opening. Impressive! Sweet potato with brown sugar butter - yes!

Staff was very knowledgable about celiac and preventing cross-contamination. The meats are cut in front of you, so I could hear a more experienced worker directing some newer ones to change their gloves and use separate weigh trays in order to keep my food safe. All of the hot sauces they have on the tables are GF except for “Texas Twang”.

Went because it was on the app. Told cashier I was celiac and one of the cooks came out and listed everything I could have as well as told the kitchen that my order was gluten free. Fries are also gluten free as they are in a separate fryer.

Best brisket and fries I’ve had in a long time! And I’m picky about my fries. Ha. The flavor of the meat was incredible on its own, and with the smoky bbq sauce I added, it was top notch. Wish I lived closer!!

The team at Mission BBQ was so friendly and helpful. It’s seldom I encounter this level of friendliness and service. Very impressive!

Staff was excellent and so was the food. They knew exactly what was gluten free (about 90% of the place is!!) and the decor is cool and the theme of the restaurant is honorable.

Gluten free menu. Delicious food. Incredibly friendly people who are knowledgable about gluten and happy to explain their options and set-up to you. They wipe down the prep area for your order to avoid cross-conramination.

Staff made me feel safe and I had no bad reactions

Absolutely delicious. Everyone was knowledgeable about celiac/gluten free, handling was fantastic and all in full view. Everyone wiped down/changed gloves and used a dedicated fryer.

I’ve had Mission BBQ catering a few times and have loved their celiac safe service and food. This was my first time eating in a restaurant and I was blown away. Every single staff member took my celiac seriously, when asked if they could change gloves she said “oh we have an entire celiac protocol, that’s a part of it!” They have bottles of sauce on every table, and all but one is celiac safe. But, I was a bit concerned about the potential contamination of the bottle cap, and the staff immediately changed it out for me. They even took the cap off without a gloved hand, and put the new cap on with her other hand, which was gloved. The immense attention to detail and care towards celiac customers blew me away. I ordered some to go as well because they did such a great job.

Wow! What a gem! I have gluten and dairy allergies. We were on vacation and I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. And the food was excellent. They had gluten and diet free sauces but the ribs I had fell off the bone and the rub was delicious. If you stop here, you won’t be disappointed.

Staff was very knowledgeable about preparing food and free food. Most of the food is prepared without sauce and you just put it on afterwards. Dedicated fryer!!! I recommend the brisket Memphis Belle sauce!

Delicious BBQ! You can ask to see their GF menu at the register. All but one of the BBQ sauces on the table are GF. Their fries are also safe.

This is my second visit to Mission in 6 months. I don't recall what I ordered in December bit it didn't bother me. This trip I ordered the smoked hamburger without a bun (no gf option) with mashed potatoes. This will be a regular visit when I'm in DE.
