Mission St. Bbq

I got mildly sick here twice. I’m medium-sensitivity which seems to imply that there’s something in the sauce that contains a small amount of gluten. The food tastes great and I may give it one more shot to see if it was a fluke (my reactions were very mild) but I can’t in good conscious recommend it.

— Excellent

Delicious ribs. The tri-tip and pulled pork was also good. The spicy bbq sauce bottle was labeled “no gluten”. When I called over the phone I was told that everything except the bread and macaroni is gluten free. I would double check before ordering since the online menu doesn’t mention or alert you to any allergens. I ate the ribs, coleslaw, tri tip, pork, and bbq sauce without any issues.

Almost everything is gluten-free, except for the bread. I have been to this restaurant and it’s sister restaurant in Aptos. I have never gotten sick and have enjoyed the food.

The ribs are excellent at this place. When I mentioned I had Celiac the cashier said she would make sure they changed their gloves and have them watch out for CC.

Drove across town to go here due to the other reviews. The cashier tells me nothing is gluten free. I showed him the reviews and he said " those people must be tripping."

Excellent BBQ meal! Cashier was very knowledgeable, knew what was safe and wasn't. Would definitely recommend!

Celiac disease and quite sensitive- didn't get sick.

Very safe to eat at just ask for no bread mostly everything is gluten free and I'm from Texas so I know good bbq and this place has some of the best brisket and ribs are on point!

I have celiac disease and I was have to find out they have gluten free bread that you can request on any sandwich- although sometimes they do not have it on hand. Their BBQ meats and sauces are gluten free! It was delicious! They did not have a gluten free menu but they were helpful to guide me!
