Mr G's Ice Cream

Staff were friendly and helpful but did not know whether any of their offerings were gf. They mix it all in the same place, and were undure whether any of the mix-ins were gf. When asked about other ingredients, they said they purchase the milk mixed with sweeteners and did not know what was in the mix. We were thankful for their honesty but elected not to eat there.

Not accommodating with their flavored ice cream. I had my heart set on the salted caramel ice cream & they couldn't even open a new tub to avoid cc for me. I've visited other ice cream places that will do this. Their soft serve was all I could have so if you have Celiac, this will be your only option.

Not celiac friendly. Only some of the hard serve is gluten free and the same spoons are used to scoop out ice cream. There is definitely cross contamination and I do not recommend going here.

The owner has Celiac staff knows what you can have when your dealing with Celiac. Love there ice cream! The gift shop in back of store is great too.

I went in and told the boy working at the counter I had a gluten allergy and needed to know what flavors were gluten free. He responded with a blank stare and an "uhhhhhhh all of them I guess". I said I need you to know not guess or I'll get sick. With out asking anyone else if they knew if it was gluten free he said," I mean I guess it is". Needless to say we walked out and didn't get anything. We went down the street to Treat Yo' Self frozen yogurt and they graciously looked up every single ingredient for me

Just amazing!! Apparently the owner has Celiac and the staff here are well-informed about cross contamination. My sister (who has Celiac) and I ate ice cream and had no issues at all. We had the salted caramel ice cream--highly recommend! Delicious and celiac friendly.
