I called ahead and was told they’d be able to make me a safe steak, fish or salad. When I arrived, the server said there was no was they could do that without it coming in contact with gluten. He also seemed very confused about what gluten even was. I ate plain salad with plain balsamic vinegar.

No dedicated GF fryer. They put seasoned (flour coated) frys in the fryer. Menu is not labeled and servers are not overly knowledge. It was clear that asking for GF options was frowned upon. It’s rough traveling through The Keys and trying to eat safely. Options are limited in restaurants and grocery stores.

I had a great server and while there were not many GF options on the menu she said I can get any of the burgers without a bun and their regular French fries are gluten free. She even put a note on her menu pad that I have a gluten allergy so she could let the kitchen know.

JUST DON'T GO!!!!!! Terrible service, the wait staff is rude except for one kid. Our waiter didn't feel the need to go out of his way or to even really help us at all. We asked him about like five different entrees and was not willing to go and ask about any of them. Then we ordered the prime rib. When the meal came out even after multiple times of us telling them that we were gluten, bread came out on our plates. We were very polite and told them we couldn't eat it due to our bad allergies , and then they were rude about it. Also THEY DO NOT HAVE A SEPARATE FRYER FOR GLUTEN FREE !!!!!!!!!

The guy Ken was stuck up , didn't really care to help, and didn't know much he at first told us that all the meats were gluten free and salads were a good choice . Come to find out that you Can only really have their house salad dressing and the ribs and churrasco both had gluten in their sauces/ marinades. None of the things were marked on the menu gluten free and we were told the fries were not safe because they only have one fryer and they are known for fried breaded foods. To top of the night our plates were served with bread that made us wait extra time for barely decent food! Stupid ken

Our server Tracy R. was GREAT, she let me know what options I had and double checked when I had a question about some items. I have Celiac and let her know that and she was very attentive and cautious to my needs. Nice atmosphere!

We went to the smaller location first, asked if they had a separate menu or if gf items were indicated on the main menu. I was told they didn't have a separate list, then got a blank stare. I asked how I could tell what was gluten free, the waitress shrugged and said "What do you want to eat?" I explained I needed a bit more guidance, she informed me the location 500 yards away had the menu marked. So, we got up and went there. It was marked for vegan, not gf. I asked about gf options, and again got the "what do you want" conversation. I explained what had just happened at the other location, the server saw I was frustrated and worked with me a bit more. When the food came, I was asked what type of gluten allergy I had, I said Celiac's, he said the cook was new and had put a bun on the plate, so he was taking it back to be replated. I gave it three stars for catching the error, food was decent, but wouldn't call this "friendly".

Eaten here a few times, most waitresses are helpful and knowledgeable. There are very few options, most of the time grilled fish on salad, but I highly recommend trying their "key lime freeze" dessert
