The staff I’ve interacted with have been responsive and proactive about checking with other team members about GF options. The menu is not marked, but the two times that I’ve been, a knowledgeable staff member has been present. They told me the tacos are NOT celiac safe, even with a corn tortilla, based on cross contamination from how closely the corn and flour tortillas come into contact. They also knew to tell me that there is no separate fryer (French fries are not CC-safe).

The fish quality is good, the oysters are particularly nice. I haven’t been super impressed by the sides and marinades I’ve tried so far.

My kids have celiac and we’ve always had a pleasant experience here. Some staff are definitely more knowledgeable than others- they will make a gf poke bowl, make sure you don’t have The seaweed on it. If you ask they sometimes have gf soy spice out val. They don’t have a huge amount of gf tacos- but they do rice bowls too.

This restaurant was very unfriendly. I asked about gluten free options and the waitress answered “no” and appeared annoyed by the question.

I eat here whenever I’m in town visiting my daughter in Pacific Beach. They ask if my gluten free request is due to celiac, and when informed it is, they prepare the ingredients in a separate pan rather than the common grill. The staff is knowledgeable and understands that they must avoid cross contamination. I have never had a reaction to food from here. The Shrimp Tacos with garlic butter sauce are AMAZING!

I've been here twice. 1$ oysters on Thursday. Spoke with manager and haven't gotten sock. You can also bring your own bottles of wine. Celiac safe if you proceed with caution.
