Pamlico Jacks

Nothing marked on menu so server recommended the broth-based clam chowder and the fish of the day broiled (wasn't on menu). Broiled Flounder with green beans and carrots and mashed potatoes. Server confirmed with the chef and No issues after. Fish cooked nicely- delicious! Nice wine list and full bar with beach drinks. Will definitely return and try some other things. Edit: second visit and was better than the first. Server was knowledgeable and checked with chef when I ordered and got approval. Fish and sides were Excellent as before so was the Tomato Bisque. No issues. Love it.

Very disappointed. I informed the waitress about needing my food to be gluten free. I ordered the soup, which would have been gf except there was a huge chunk of bread in the soup. When I sent it back for a new bowl with no bread, I was told it was the last bowl. I ate a salad that was good, so that’s a positive.

No dedicated GF menu but staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had a salad with a huge delicious burger (no bun).

I was super skeptical going in here but it's winter and there was nothing else open. The owner and staff were nice and they pointed out the GF choices on the menu. This place is nothing fancy. But my food was pretty decent. I got grilled shrimp with mashed potato and green beans. Nothing to write home about but not bad either.
