My daughter and son love this place so they wanted to take me as well. There were not a lot of options for me as I am Celiac. The waiter was very good in going over the menu. I ended up having these wonderful homemade blue corn tortillas, the best I’ve ever had.. with the bean dip. Not much of a dinner but was filling for me. My kids were bummed I could not have the corn dip has a crema that they mix into it that is not GF.

Yeah food is pretty good but you can’t eat the chips (shared fryer) and the tacos are safe but for tortillas warmed on shared griddle with the quesadilla (at least the carnitas tacos that is cuz they have a separate and visible griddle station).
Oh and the basic margarita is small and $15. But it is a lively spot!
Better off going to Escuela Taqueria a few blocks west

Ate here fine server was very helpful.
Yes
While the food here is good (according to my non-Celiac friends) it is in no way safe for Celiacs. I've been here 3 times and every time I struggled to figure out what I can eat, which is nothing. The waitress said she knew the tacos were gluten free because "she can eat them and she is gluten free too" yet after asking a bunch of questions it turns out the jackfruit is fried in the same oil as items containing gluten. I ended up just eating the guacamole with a spoon. That's pretty much your only Celiac-safe option here.

I ate here because it was on nobread.com. My server assured me my tacos would be safe/gluten free. Not at all. I had a strong reaction and generally I'm not too sensitive. I'm only posting a review to save anyone else the pain I went through.
