This is my favorite Italian restaurant! They have a lot of gluten-free options and the staff is always so sweet. I absolutely love their gluten-free bread, and I would also recommend the tiramisu. I’m always impressed every time I come here!

Beware of Piastra! After reading many great reviews, we decided to go tonight. We told the server we were GF as soon as we sat down. She said she would bring us some GF bread. Then, a very young girl (10 or 11) brought us some bread. We asked her if it was GF, and she said she would go check. We saw her ask another server (who was old enough to know), and she also said it was GF. We were eating it when our server brought us the actual GF bread and said the bread we were eating was regular 😫. We told her the young girl had checked for us but obviously didn’t know. The server said the girl was the owner’s daughter. She definitely shouldn’t have been working at all much less ensuring things are GF. Luckily we are not celiac and just gluten intolerant.

Brycen took great care of us, and most dishes can be made GF!

Piastra does an excellent job offering 90% of their menu in gf options. You can even call two days in advance and the chef will make gf lasagna or ravioli for you! I had the rigatoni and it was delicious! They also offer a gf tiramisu that was yummy.

I had a great dinner here! Make sure you tell your server that you want the item modified gluten free - and then almost everything on the menu can be gluten free including pastas, pizzas, and even fried arancini. There were several gluten free dessert options too. My husband thought the gluten free bread option (served with garlic olive oil) was better than the regular bread they gave him!

A lot of the menu is GF. I got the Arancini and Calamari appetizers, GF bread and oil, Spaghetti Alla Bolognese, and Tiramisu for dessert. All of it was very good. The GF bread took a while but looked better than the regular bread. This restaurant does seem to cater to GF customers which is nice.

Absolutely amazing. Literally 90% of their menu can be made gluten free including some deep fried things. Everything was amazing, fresh, and homemade. We gave our compliments to the chef, and he came out and offered to make me gf cannolis. I’m amazed!! If you’re gluten free or celiac you HAVE to check it out!!!!!

Food was delicious, both GF and not. About 90% of their menu can be made GF (safe for celiac), and I had no symptoms after eating here twice this weekend. They have homemade GF bread, and the pizza is very good. It also has a very home-y atmosphere. The GF chocolate cake is delicious, but very rich. We will definitely be back next time we're in Atlanta.

I’ve lived here for 21 years and I have no idea how I’ve never known about this! ITS AMAZING!!! I have celiac and eating here made me feel normal!! I could have bread, appetizers that normally are never GF, pasta, pizza, and salads! Amazing food! So much so that I wondered if it was really gf! The staff was so kind and made me feel safe! COME HERE

We go here frequently with my daughter who has Celiac. She has never gotten sick from cross contamination. They have GF pasta, homemade GF bread, and GF desserts. It’s one of the few places that she gets a lot of options and doesn’t have to pick a salad.

How have I not found this place until now? So many GF choices, everything we had was delicious and incredibly well prepared and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Food was so good we got a couple items to go to warm up the next day. A definite return visit!

This is the first Italian restaurant I’ve been able to find that has gluten free options and it is AMAZING. Almost everything on the menu is able to be made gluten free if you notify your server! We had the bread, mozzarella scottato, and spaghetti alla bolognese… ALL GLUTEN FREE. I didn’t get sick and my bf and I already have plans to go back again.

The pizza is amazing! We also tried a pasta dish that was also pretty good. They even brought us out some decent tasting gf bread as an appetizer. It was a bit dry, but it had a good flavor. Overall, the meal was great. Not to mention their sangria.. possibly best I’ve ever had!

Love this place! So many GF options available. Their GF pizza was amazing! They are very careful and I did not get sick!
Yes
Thank you for the kind words. We do our best to be careful. Hopefully we will see you again soon!
My wife and I had dinner last night at Piastra for the first time. I discover the restaurant using the Find Me Gluten Free app. We were surprised at all of the gf options (including bread and pasta). The food was great! My wife has celiac and had zero reaction to the food. We will definitely be back!

Thank you!
It's a fairly small restaurant, but there's a wide variety of GF options, including a bunch of pizzas, and GF bread. Our meals were delicious and I didn't experience any issues afterwards. Definitely will be back. Thank you for an enjoyable dinner.
Yes
Thank you!
Came for brunch and the breakfast pizza was fantastic. My non-gf husband was jealous and ended up enjoying it with me. The chef came out and checked on everything as well (and trading gf baking tips).
Yes
Safe yes. Flavorful- not really. They use a GF breadcrumb that is dark in color (can't remember the variety) so yes, chicken parm was GF but the color was so charcoal/ dark grey. Same with gf bread. The pasta side was fine. The price point was quite significant - very expensive. They have a GF chocolate dessert. Very rich - chocolate lovers will rejoice!
Good food with lots of GF options, but service was terrible. Waitress offered GF bread when taking my drink order and I did not receive it until I was finished with my meal.

We ate here for the first time last night. I'll start the review by saying YES, GO HERE. The gluten free bread, pasta, and pizza dough is delicious. As is the GF chocolate cake. Everything is made separate. I did get sick, but it was my own fault. The waitress was bringing gluten free bread, but also brought regular bread for another member of our dinner party, and I didn't realize. The waitress, owner, and head chef all came out to talk with us. The gluten free food I did eat (pizza and pasta) was absolutely delicious
We make our own GF bread, pizza dough and cannoli. We always have GF spaghetti and Penne to substitute in almost any pasta dish.
