Celiac friendly, dedicated gluten free restaurant.
One of the largest GF Italian menus I've ever seen. Really good ravioli and flatbread.
Beyond words amazing for those on gf diet and wanting healthy food.
The first two pages of the menu are GF. They use fresh GF pasta for all dishes, and butternut squash ravioli with fresh pesto was amazing, as was the pulled pork ragu. All desserts are GF! We enjoyed the chocolate chip skittle cookie with ice cream!
After reading all the reviews I was looking forward to trying the pizza. I ordered it to take out. I asked that it be cooked well done. When I picked up the pizza after a 35 minute wait it was barely cooked forget about being well done. The crust texture and flavor were disappointing. $22 and I couldn't eat it. I won't go back.
A must stop for gluten free. Entire Menu is GF. Highly recommended.
Everything is gluten free!! Pizza and pasta and bread!! It's a dream!
Amazing menu! Many vegan options, too!
For awhile it seemed like I was reacting to their pizzas. But something must have changed in the last couple of months because I can eat there without a reaction. I am so glad because they have some of the best crusts! I have had to cut back on dairy and even though their vegan pizza's don't look wonderful it was still delicious.
Picazzo's is wonderful! It was so hard to make a choice between all of the possible options. We ended up having GF pizza and GF gnocchi. The pizza was so good we got another one to bring with us and we had it for breakfast the next day. Unfortunately we were just driving through Sedona but I can't wait to go back.
Ate here 2 nights in a row, it was amazing. Gluten free pasta and gnocchi and bread and the ravioli was such a treat!! They were not flexible in substitutions for other guests at our table but my food was excellent.
This place is a gluten intolerant person's dream! The menu seems to be gluten free, subbing in gluten as an option. There is gf table bread, there are gf appetizers, there are gf pastas, etc. The server told me because I was gf, all bread crumbs, all breads, all everything would be gluten free no matter what I ordered. I am also intolerant of eggs, and they have a gluten free, vegan pizza crust! They also have many vegetarian/vegan options, and their non-dairy cheese is even soy free. I am not sure about the kitchen and how gf dedicated it is for celiac diners, but from my experience there I would be absolutely surprised if they didn't take all precautions. For us gluten intolerant folks- if you're in Sedona- this place is not to be missed!
Amazing!!! They have 2 kinds of GF pizza crust plus SO many other Italian dinner options (pasta, ravioli.....). A bunch of GF desserts too. We had the pizza and it was excellent (and we're from the NYC area). Ordered the olive oil cake and that too was delicious.
ordered GF slice but was served regular realized 1 bite in but too late ...careless server and was charged ..should send the Dr Bill
Best gluten free pizza ever!
Menu all gluten free pasta, pizza, salads. Also serve regular pizza. Very good.
Very good pizza. Lots of gf options.
Great menu, great food...we go there every time we are in town!
We enjoyed both dinner and lunch at the restaurant and found the food to be excellent. The entire menu is oriented to gluten free.
Great GF food and service!
A terrific place that really caters to celiacs. A huge selection of gf items on the menu and the reassurance that its all prepared in an area separate from the gluten items. Fantastic.
More GF options than I have ever seen a single restaurant. My 2 year old had GF spaghetti with a meatball and unfiltered apple juice. I think the meal was mostly, if not all organic as well. Very nice restaurant in general, nice service, and a GF surprise on our road trip through Arizona.
Great GF options!! Highly recommend.
Great food and variety for a gluten free meal.
Wish there were a Picazzo's where I live. Was in Sedona visiting family and was taken there. So wonderful to be able to order a slice of GF pizza, and it was delicious! And they offer non-GF so my companions aren't forced to share my whole GF pizza. Just had the avocado slice of the week and kale salad (LOVE the healthy choices here) yesterday and I will definitely come back here whenever I'm in Sedona.
excellent choices and variety, reasonable prices
So many gf options that I had trouble deciding and the food was wonderful.
This is the best gluten free pizza that I have ever had with excellent service in a great setting!
The best gluten free place I eaten since I found out I had celiacs 5 years ago. Pizza and salads were fantastic and the dessert is yummy. I'm going back tomorrow :-)
This place is amazing! They have a very large gluten free menu and their pizza and pasta is great! You will also have to try one of their many gluten free desserts - YUMMY!!!
Lots of GF offerings: pizza and pastas!
What a find! The only place I ate in Sedona. As a Celiac, I felt very comfortable eating at Picasso's plus the food is outstanding! The menu was full of GF items, all marked accordingly.
Everything I've ever had here (dozens of times) had been absolutely amazing. Things I've dreamt would be gluten free are possibilities here: stuffed tortellini, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts. The restaurant is all gf, organic, non gmo and you will not find artificial sugars for your organic iced tea. The only thing I'm dreaming of for them to add to their menu is a chicken and shrimp calzone with Alfredo and for desert carrot cake my husband favorite.
Great GF crust! They also have gf pasta that is amazing!! They cater to allergies very well! A little on the pricy side however.
Holy pasta, this place was amazing! Seriously. I'm gluten intolerant (very sensitive) and this was the first time I've had fresh-made pasta in years, and one of the few times I've been able to have stuffed pasta. Fresh-made, gluten-free, stuffed pasta! I had the 5-cheese ravioli with pesto sauce and it was delicious!!! My kids didn't find much on the menu to be excited about, but one's a picky eater and we'd all been on the road for two days. I really recommend this restaurant, whether you're gluten-intolerant or not. It's just that good. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Love this place because they understand celiac and cross contamination. Everything (everything!) on the menu is gluten free. It was so refreshing to look a the menu and really have options. We ordered the pizza. Unfortunately, it was very soggy although it didn't taste bad. I have had better gf pizza crusts elsewhere. Still, will keep this on the list of places to go whenever we visit Phoenix.
We have eaten here three times so far with my daughter who has celiacs disease. She is two and very picky. She loves the pizza and Mac n cheese. My husband and I love that she is able to eat anything on our table instead of being paranoid every time we eat out. Thank you for a wonderful experience we will continue to eat here when we visit AZ.
All pastas ar GF. There was a wide choice. The pizza crust was one of the best GF crusts I've had. Even my husband, who is not GF, enjoyed the crust. The only bad thing to say was that the kitchen messed up the order and tried to serve a non-GF pizza crust. The eagle eye server, even as busy as she was, caught it before it was even out of the kitchen and they remade the pie. I ate more than I have any a long time.....Highly reccomend this place.
Delightful atmosphere with an extensive menu of delicious Italian dishes. We had a pizza and a bowl of meatballs.
My wife and two out of three of our kids are celiac, it's very hard to find restaurants that understand the importance of not eating gluten and other allergies, such as dairy. Picazzo'z Organic is one of the best we've ever been, and we travel a lot. Totally recommended!
I am visiting Phoenix for the weekend and was looking for a GF restaurant. Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw an Italian restaurant that was completely GF. Now here's the best part the food is AMAZING and the staff is so nice. this is a great little place and a must especially if u r missing Italian food. Now if they can only open one where I live LOL.
Really nice place with so much options all of them gluten free! I tried the Alfredo pizza and was one oz the best GF pizzas I ever had. The pear and blue cheese salad was very tasty and very well dessed. The cookie with ice cream for dessert to die for, definitely save some room for the dessert! ;p
One of the BEST gluten free restaurants I have been too.
So many options!! Wings, pizza, pasta, lasagna. Great food, great service. Also, gluten free brownie heaven- seriously! This locations is the best too ;) sign up for their emails and get a free one on your birthday!!
Was thrilled to find an organic, GF restaurant while on vacation. I had a salad that was very good, my husband and daughter weren't quite as thrilled with their meals (one GF, one not) as they weren't very flavorful. so guess it is hit and miss on what you order.
Gluten free appetizers, pasta, bread. Almost everything is GF. They do offer regular pizza crusts and a GF crust. Staff was helpful.
A safe haven for Celiacs. Friendly service too!
I absolutely LOVE Picazzo's! The staff is VERY knowledgable about GF, DF and even soy-free needs and all of their pizzas can be made with DF cheese :D I had the tarragon chicken pizza and the skillet cookie- both of which were amazing! The cookie even comes with DF coconut ice cream if yore DF like me :)
Pricey, but delicious and the menu has a wide selection to choose from
This is my favorite place to eat in little over a year since celiac diagnosis. It is a bit pricey but for what you get its not. Everything is GF and organic or hormone free. They take great care to get produce locally. The pasta and salad I have had here is amazing. I love going here on date night.
The majority of their menu is gf, even the after dinner mints. If you want a place you can trust to not be glutened, this is it. And even better, it tastes like the glutened counterpart. Love that it's organic too. My only complaint is there is not one in the west valley. They also comped a birthday dessert. Definitely returning.
First GF pizza I have ever felt compelled to try. It's a ways from home, but worth the drive. Fresh, organic, GF & delicious!!!
Had lunch here on a weekend earlier this month. The symbol on the window as I entered the restaurant made me feel like I didn't have to ask three times for my meal to be GF like at other restaurants. Their main menu has a big variety of items that are GF, which is really nice, as most restaurants have tiny separate GF menus. The food was reasonably good, but the value was even better given the GF and organic options they provide. Lunch specials for roughly $10 included drink, salad, and pasta or a big slice of pizza. Wish I had this many GF options close to home.
