Amazing! Wonderful food, service, and everything could be GF. It was great not having to worry about cross contamination etc...
Holy pasta, this place was amazing! Seriously. I'm gluten intolerant (very sensitive) and this was the first time I've had fresh-made pasta in years, and one of the few times I've been able to have stuffed pasta. Fresh-made, gluten-free, stuffed pasta! I had the 5-cheese ravioli with pesto sauce and it was delicious!!! My kids didn't find much on the menu to be excited about, but one's a picky eater and we'd all been on the road for two days. I really recommend this restaurant, whether you're gluten-intolerant or not. It's just that good. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Delicious! We got the Alfredo Ham and Bacon pizza, and MAN! It was the best pizza I've ever had. Anything can be made Gluten-free, and the whole restaurant is designed around keeping the gluten free food safe.
Always many choices, great attention to service, and most of all, great food
My favorite GF restaurant in Flagstaff. Happy Hour includes half off the delicious GF appetizer menu. The pizzas, salads and even GF desserts always satisfy me and my family.
Really nice place with so much options all of them gluten free! I tried the Alfredo pizza and was one oz the best GF pizzas I ever had. The pear and blue cheese salad was very tasty and very well dessed. The cookie with ice cream for dessert to die for, definitely save some room for the dessert! ;p
My dishes and dessert were delicious, excellent wait person. This is a great place!!!!
We are on vacation and this is the best restaurant that we have come across yet. Great gluten free Italian food , bread and pasta, also wonderful salad. All freshly made and no stomach issues.
Gluten - free and delicious. You don't ever feel like you're having to settle. Service is excellent. I prefer the gluten free crust to the normal. SO good.
wonderful food, great tasting pizza, pasta, salad and desserts.
Linguine with meatballs was awesome! It was nice to go in and have so many options to choose from :)
Entire place is gluten free with a ton of options. The bread was just eh, but everything else was great! Wings were wonderful and the pasta dishes are fantastic!
Was thrilled to find an organic, GF restaurant while on vacation. I had a salad that was very good, my husband and daughter weren't quite as thrilled with their meals (one GF, one not) as they weren't very flavorful. so guess it is hit and miss on what you order.
Awesome Gluten Free Menu . I have Celiac and I eat there alot and I have never gotten sick. Yea!
love this place, so far everything I've had is so wonderful. it was also very nice to order without having to worry.
Absolutely my favorite place to eat out! They are so nice and friendly. The food is healthy and gluten free and when I forget to request GF, the servers remember. Their lunch specials are fabulous with a slice of pizza and salad or salad and soup even soup and pizza. Their pastas are yummy too with the curry chix as my favorite!!
Nice place. Friendly service. Had the cheese bread and it was ok. I expected it to have a garlic flavor but it didn't. It was very bland. The gf pizza was good but the crust didn't have much flavor to it. My son ordered the Mac and cheese and didn't like it. It was cheesy but a very mild flavor. He liked the pizza though. All appetizers, salads and pastas are gf. They use quinoa/corn pasta. I will go back and try something else next time. It is a bit pricey though.
decent food but expensive
This is our go to place for their salads and pizza. Great happy hour and lunch specials. They have not forgotten what customer service is.
The whole family (of which only I am gluten-free) had a fabulous lunch today. Pizza by the slice (GF or regular) is made to order with your choice of toppings or you can choose from the specials. The crust was crunchy and not crumbly and truly hit the spot. He caesar salad included GF croutons. Most of the menu is GF or available GF. There were so many choices that we are considering a trip back tonight for pasta! ~Jill
really enjoyed this place for their lunch combo meal ~ beautiful salad & a nice slice of GF pizza of the week (fig gorgonzola) ~ different but tasty. Menu not updated that they do not have brown rice pasta ~ they use quinoa pasta, which is great except I cannot have it. staff & service were super! will return if I am in Flagstaff area
The best GF pizza and pasta we have ever had !!! Great atmosphere and great service . The garlic bread needs a little help but over all it was AMAZING !
expensive pizza... medium with 6 slices will cost 20 or more. good gf selection
Love this place because they understand celiac and cross contamination. Everything (everything!) on the menu is gluten free. It was so refreshing to look a the menu and really have options. We ordered the pizza. Unfortunately, it was very soggy although it didn't taste bad. I have had better gf pizza crusts elsewhere. Still, will keep this on the list of places to go whenever we visit Phoenix.
We have eaten here three times so far with my daughter who has celiacs disease. She is two and very picky. She loves the pizza and Mac n cheese. My husband and I love that she is able to eat anything on our table instead of being paranoid every time we eat out. Thank you for a wonderful experience we will continue to eat here when we visit AZ.
All pastas ar GF. There was a wide choice. The pizza crust was one of the best GF crusts I've had. Even my husband, who is not GF, enjoyed the crust. The only bad thing to say was that the kitchen messed up the order and tried to serve a non-GF pizza crust. The eagle eye server, even as busy as she was, caught it before it was even out of the kitchen and they remade the pie. I ate more than I have any a long time.....Highly reccomend this place.
After reading all the reviews I was looking forward to trying the pizza. I ordered it to take out. I asked that it be cooked well done. When I picked up the pizza after a 35 minute wait it was barely cooked forget about being well done. The crust texture and flavor were disappointing. $22 and I couldn't eat it. I won't go back.
Delightful atmosphere with an extensive menu of delicious Italian dishes. We had a pizza and a bowl of meatballs.
My wife and two out of three of our kids are celiac, it's very hard to find restaurants that understand the importance of not eating gluten and other allergies, such as dairy. Picazzo'z Organic is one of the best we've ever been, and we travel a lot. Totally recommended!
I am visiting Phoenix for the weekend and was looking for a GF restaurant. Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw an Italian restaurant that was completely GF. Now here's the best part the food is AMAZING and the staff is so nice. this is a great little place and a must especially if u r missing Italian food. Now if they can only open one where I live LOL.
For awhile it seemed like I was reacting to their pizzas. But something must have changed in the last couple of months because I can eat there without a reaction. I am so glad because they have some of the best crusts! I have had to cut back on dairy and even though their vegan pizza's don't look wonderful it was still delicious.
Picazzo's is wonderful! It was so hard to make a choice between all of the possible options. We ended up having GF pizza and GF gnocchi. The pizza was so good we got another one to bring with us and we had it for breakfast the next day. Unfortunately we were just driving through Sedona but I can't wait to go back.
This place is a gluten intolerant person's dream! The menu seems to be gluten free, subbing in gluten as an option. There is gf table bread, there are gf appetizers, there are gf pastas, etc. The server told me because I was gf, all bread crumbs, all breads, all everything would be gluten free no matter what I ordered. I am also intolerant of eggs, and they have a gluten free, vegan pizza crust! They also have many vegetarian/vegan options, and their non-dairy cheese is even soy free. I am not sure about the kitchen and how gf dedicated it is for celiac diners, but from my experience there I would be absolutely surprised if they didn't take all precautions. For us gluten intolerant folks- if you're in Sedona- this place is not to be missed!
One of the BEST gluten free restaurants I have been too.
So many options!! Wings, pizza, pasta, lasagna. Great food, great service. Also, gluten free brownie heaven- seriously! This locations is the best too ;) sign up for their emails and get a free one on your birthday!!
Amazing!!! They have 2 kinds of GF pizza crust plus SO many other Italian dinner options (pasta, ravioli.....). A bunch of GF desserts too. We had the pizza and it was excellent (and we're from the NYC area). Ordered the olive oil cake and that too was delicious.
Gluten free appetizers, pasta, bread. Almost everything is GF. They do offer regular pizza crusts and a GF crust. Staff was helpful.
A safe haven for Celiacs. Friendly service too!
I absolutely LOVE Picazzo's! The staff is VERY knowledgable about GF, DF and even soy-free needs and all of their pizzas can be made with DF cheese :D I had the tarragon chicken pizza and the skillet cookie- both of which were amazing! The cookie even comes with DF coconut ice cream if yore DF like me :)
Pricey, but delicious and the menu has a wide selection to choose from
This is my favorite place to eat in little over a year since celiac diagnosis. It is a bit pricey but for what you get its not. Everything is GF and organic or hormone free. They take great care to get produce locally. The pasta and salad I have had here is amazing. I love going here on date night.
The majority of their menu is gf, even the after dinner mints. If you want a place you can trust to not be glutened, this is it. And even better, it tastes like the glutened counterpart. Love that it's organic too. My only complaint is there is not one in the west valley. They also comped a birthday dessert. Definitely returning.
First GF pizza I have ever felt compelled to try. It's a ways from home, but worth the drive. Fresh, organic, GF & delicious!!!
Had lunch here on a weekend earlier this month. The symbol on the window as I entered the restaurant made me feel like I didn't have to ask three times for my meal to be GF like at other restaurants. Their main menu has a big variety of items that are GF, which is really nice, as most restaurants have tiny separate GF menus. The food was reasonably good, but the value was even better given the GF and organic options they provide. Lunch specials for roughly $10 included drink, salad, and pasta or a big slice of pizza. Wish I had this many GF options close to home.
Best gluten free Italian joint around! Always a favorite, especially for thicker crust gf pizza! They also offer a great selection of pastas...and desserts! You can't go wrong here!
This is fast becoming my favorite new restaurant! Finally, a place where I can see yummy appetizers and actually have the same thing everybody at the table can eat and it's delicious! Spinach artichoke dip is delicious - I've also had the five cheese ravioli and lasagna bolognese - both delicious. Pretty much the entire menu is gluten fee - I will be back soon.
