Love this place. Everything I've tried I've liked. The giant gluten free chocolate chip cookie is to die for. Great gluten free pizza too!
this place does make the GF crowd feel normal! huge selection of GF. they even have mac and cheese for the kids, making our 3 year old celiac a happy kid. pizza was excellent. cost over $100 for four of us, but we're getting used to that in the GF life.
Whenever I'm in AZ I make sure to visit one of Picazzo's restaurants. One of the things I miss most is the taste and texture of a well made Pizza crust. Not only is the Pizza crust to die for, but the toppings are organic and delicious too. So many options for Gluten free food here...Picazzo's is a piece of Gluten Free Heaven!
Very friendly service. Food was very good. All GF on the menu. I would recommend highly!
After everyone's wonderful reviews we went and ate dinner here during our stay in Flagstaff. Everything on the menu is GF with the exception of having to tell them on the pizza crust. Everything was so delicious! I had the cheese ravioli with pesto sauce and we shared GF brownie with ice cream and Carmel sauce drizzle. It's a must stop!
Excellent service, amazing food and great atmosphere. My favorite place. Wish there was still one in the west valley so I didn't have to drive so far.
Great food and service. Totally G free no issues!
A fabulous find while on vacation. So many GF/DF options--- even coconut ice cream to go w/ GF brownie. Salads are tremendous--- so fresh and tasty. GF pizza crust is so much better than anything I've purchased or made. Any thoughts of opening an east coast franchise??? PLEASE???
Best place ever! They had the biggest GF menu we have ever seen. There was pizza, all sorts of pasta including ravioli, lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs, homemade GF bread, GF croutons for salads, GF soup, and a whole list of GF desserts! The service was good and it was delicious. The menu was a tad pricey but totally worth it with so many options and not getting sick at all. I wish we lived in Arizona just so we could eat here more!
This is the best gluten free restaurant for Celiac. Most everything on the menu is gluten free including a dedicated stone oven for gluten free pizza!!! We don't have to worry about cross contamination. We love this place and eat her several times when we are in town. We wish there were more Picazzos!!
This place was amazing! Best pizza I have ever had. They even had ravioli which I have been looking for for 8 years! Advertised gluten free pizza in the window with the other stuff that could be seen very far away! Basically everything on the menu was gluten free and says the have a dedicated stone oven for gluten free! They have two size crusts when usually gluten free only has one size. I was very impressed and they were super nice and educated. They took the time to explain each dish. Best restaurant I've ever ate at!
Everything I've ever had here (dozens of times) had been absolutely amazing. Things I've dreamt would be gluten free are possibilities here: stuffed tortellini, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts. The restaurant is all gf, organic, non gmo and you will not find artificial sugars for your organic iced tea. The only thing I'm dreaming of for them to add to their menu is a chicken and shrimp calzone with Alfredo and for desert carrot cake my husband favorite.
Great GF crust! They also have gf pasta that is amazing!! They cater to allergies very well! A little on the pricy side however.
Holy pasta, this place was amazing! Seriously. I'm gluten intolerant (very sensitive) and this was the first time I've had fresh-made pasta in years, and one of the few times I've been able to have stuffed pasta. Fresh-made, gluten-free, stuffed pasta! I had the 5-cheese ravioli with pesto sauce and it was delicious!!! My kids didn't find much on the menu to be excited about, but one's a picky eater and we'd all been on the road for two days. I really recommend this restaurant, whether you're gluten-intolerant or not. It's just that good. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Love this place because they understand celiac and cross contamination. Everything (everything!) on the menu is gluten free. It was so refreshing to look a the menu and really have options. We ordered the pizza. Unfortunately, it was very soggy although it didn't taste bad. I have had better gf pizza crusts elsewhere. Still, will keep this on the list of places to go whenever we visit Phoenix.
We have eaten here three times so far with my daughter who has celiacs disease. She is two and very picky. She loves the pizza and Mac n cheese. My husband and I love that she is able to eat anything on our table instead of being paranoid every time we eat out. Thank you for a wonderful experience we will continue to eat here when we visit AZ.
All pastas ar GF. There was a wide choice. The pizza crust was one of the best GF crusts I've had. Even my husband, who is not GF, enjoyed the crust. The only bad thing to say was that the kitchen messed up the order and tried to serve a non-GF pizza crust. The eagle eye server, even as busy as she was, caught it before it was even out of the kitchen and they remade the pie. I ate more than I have any a long time.....Highly reccomend this place.
After reading all the reviews I was looking forward to trying the pizza. I ordered it to take out. I asked that it be cooked well done. When I picked up the pizza after a 35 minute wait it was barely cooked forget about being well done. The crust texture and flavor were disappointing. $22 and I couldn't eat it. I won't go back.
Delightful atmosphere with an extensive menu of delicious Italian dishes. We had a pizza and a bowl of meatballs.
My wife and two out of three of our kids are celiac, it's very hard to find restaurants that understand the importance of not eating gluten and other allergies, such as dairy. Picazzo'z Organic is one of the best we've ever been, and we travel a lot. Totally recommended!
I am visiting Phoenix for the weekend and was looking for a GF restaurant. Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw an Italian restaurant that was completely GF. Now here's the best part the food is AMAZING and the staff is so nice. this is a great little place and a must especially if u r missing Italian food. Now if they can only open one where I live LOL.
For awhile it seemed like I was reacting to their pizzas. But something must have changed in the last couple of months because I can eat there without a reaction. I am so glad because they have some of the best crusts! I have had to cut back on dairy and even though their vegan pizza's don't look wonderful it was still delicious.
Really nice place with so much options all of them gluten free! I tried the Alfredo pizza and was one oz the best GF pizzas I ever had. The pear and blue cheese salad was very tasty and very well dessed. The cookie with ice cream for dessert to die for, definitely save some room for the dessert! ;p
