Great GF crust! They also have gf pasta that is amazing!! They cater to allergies very well! A little on the pricy side however.
Love this place because they understand celiac and cross contamination. Everything (everything!) on the menu is gluten free. It was so refreshing to look a the menu and really have options. We ordered the pizza. Unfortunately, it was very soggy although it didn't taste bad. I have had better gf pizza crusts elsewhere. Still, will keep this on the list of places to go whenever we visit Phoenix.
Delightful atmosphere with an extensive menu of delicious Italian dishes. We had a pizza and a bowl of meatballs.
My wife and two out of three of our kids are celiac, it's very hard to find restaurants that understand the importance of not eating gluten and other allergies, such as dairy. Picazzo'z Organic is one of the best we've ever been, and we travel a lot. Totally recommended!
One of the BEST gluten free restaurants I have been too.
So many options!! Wings, pizza, pasta, lasagna. Great food, great service. Also, gluten free brownie heaven- seriously! This locations is the best too ;) sign up for their emails and get a free one on your birthday!!
Gluten free appetizers, pasta, bread. Almost everything is GF. They do offer regular pizza crusts and a GF crust. Staff was helpful.
A safe haven for Celiacs. Friendly service too!
Pricey, but delicious and the menu has a wide selection to choose from
The majority of their menu is gf, even the after dinner mints. If you want a place you can trust to not be glutened, this is it. And even better, it tastes like the glutened counterpart. Love that it's organic too. My only complaint is there is not one in the west valley. They also comped a birthday dessert. Definitely returning.
First GF pizza I have ever felt compelled to try. It's a ways from home, but worth the drive. Fresh, organic, GF & delicious!!!
Had lunch here on a weekend earlier this month. The symbol on the window as I entered the restaurant made me feel like I didn't have to ask three times for my meal to be GF like at other restaurants. Their main menu has a big variety of items that are GF, which is really nice, as most restaurants have tiny separate GF menus. The food was reasonably good, but the value was even better given the GF and organic options they provide. Lunch specials for roughly $10 included drink, salad, and pasta or a big slice of pizza. Wish I had this many GF options close to home.
Best gluten free Italian joint around! Always a favorite, especially for thicker crust gf pizza! They also offer a great selection of pastas...and desserts! You can't go wrong here!
This is fast becoming my favorite new restaurant! Finally, a place where I can see yummy appetizers and actually have the same thing everybody at the table can eat and it's delicious! Spinach artichoke dip is delicious - I've also had the five cheese ravioli and lasagna bolognese - both delicious. Pretty much the entire menu is gluten fee - I will be back soon.
Great pizza and focaccia bread. Very knowledgeable staff.
This is not a just eating. This is a fantastic experience!!! I'm in gluten free heaven. I've never ever tasted gluten free pizza this good before. They also have flat breads and many dessert choices. I'm visiting the area and I think I will eat here everyday. Lol
There is art in creating a really great pizza, (especially so for GF/DF folk) but they know how to do it here! Menu is extensive, and not limited to a few selections--since GF is "normal" here, you can relax and enjoy your meal. Non-GF diners can enjoy their fave's too, which makes this place perfect for all. Thank you!!!! Best GF/DF food in 4 years!!!
Best and safest gluten free food!
California pizza is amazing! Try it with Canadian bacon, it's even better :D
Has always been a fav! Prices have gone up and portions have gone down lately...understandable but worth mentioning
They used to be great GF pizza but have changed the recipe and it is not nearly as good. There are better options available.
Best gluten free menu in town by far! So many options to choose from and they only use gluten free bread. Happy hour is an added bonus!
Everything I've ever had here (dozens of times) had been absolutely amazing. Things I've dreamt would be gluten free are possibilities here: stuffed tortellini, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts. The restaurant is all gf, organic, non gmo and you will not find artificial sugars for your organic iced tea. The only thing I'm dreaming of for them to add to their menu is a chicken and shrimp calzone with Alfredo and for desert carrot cake my husband favorite.
Holy pasta, this place was amazing! Seriously. I'm gluten intolerant (very sensitive) and this was the first time I've had fresh-made pasta in years, and one of the few times I've been able to have stuffed pasta. Fresh-made, gluten-free, stuffed pasta! I had the 5-cheese ravioli with pesto sauce and it was delicious!!! My kids didn't find much on the menu to be excited about, but one's a picky eater and we'd all been on the road for two days. I really recommend this restaurant, whether you're gluten-intolerant or not. It's just that good. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
We have eaten here three times so far with my daughter who has celiacs disease. She is two and very picky. She loves the pizza and Mac n cheese. My husband and I love that she is able to eat anything on our table instead of being paranoid every time we eat out. Thank you for a wonderful experience we will continue to eat here when we visit AZ.
All pastas ar GF. There was a wide choice. The pizza crust was one of the best GF crusts I've had. Even my husband, who is not GF, enjoyed the crust. The only bad thing to say was that the kitchen messed up the order and tried to serve a non-GF pizza crust. The eagle eye server, even as busy as she was, caught it before it was even out of the kitchen and they remade the pie. I ate more than I have any a long time.....Highly reccomend this place.
After reading all the reviews I was looking forward to trying the pizza. I ordered it to take out. I asked that it be cooked well done. When I picked up the pizza after a 35 minute wait it was barely cooked forget about being well done. The crust texture and flavor were disappointing. $22 and I couldn't eat it. I won't go back.
I am visiting Phoenix for the weekend and was looking for a GF restaurant. Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw an Italian restaurant that was completely GF. Now here's the best part the food is AMAZING and the staff is so nice. this is a great little place and a must especially if u r missing Italian food. Now if they can only open one where I live LOL.
For awhile it seemed like I was reacting to their pizzas. But something must have changed in the last couple of months because I can eat there without a reaction. I am so glad because they have some of the best crusts! I have had to cut back on dairy and even though their vegan pizza's don't look wonderful it was still delicious.
Really nice place with so much options all of them gluten free! I tried the Alfredo pizza and was one oz the best GF pizzas I ever had. The pear and blue cheese salad was very tasty and very well dessed. The cookie with ice cream for dessert to die for, definitely save some room for the dessert! ;p
Picazzo's is wonderful! It was so hard to make a choice between all of the possible options. We ended up having GF pizza and GF gnocchi. The pizza was so good we got another one to bring with us and we had it for breakfast the next day. Unfortunately we were just driving through Sedona but I can't wait to go back.
This place is a gluten intolerant person's dream! The menu seems to be gluten free, subbing in gluten as an option. There is gf table bread, there are gf appetizers, there are gf pastas, etc. The server told me because I was gf, all bread crumbs, all breads, all everything would be gluten free no matter what I ordered. I am also intolerant of eggs, and they have a gluten free, vegan pizza crust! They also have many vegetarian/vegan options, and their non-dairy cheese is even soy free. I am not sure about the kitchen and how gf dedicated it is for celiac diners, but from my experience there I would be absolutely surprised if they didn't take all precautions. For us gluten intolerant folks- if you're in Sedona- this place is not to be missed!
Amazing!!! They have 2 kinds of GF pizza crust plus SO many other Italian dinner options (pasta, ravioli.....). A bunch of GF desserts too. We had the pizza and it was excellent (and we're from the NYC area). Ordered the olive oil cake and that too was delicious.
Was thrilled to find an organic, GF restaurant while on vacation. I had a salad that was very good, my husband and daughter weren't quite as thrilled with their meals (one GF, one not) as they weren't very flavorful. so guess it is hit and miss on what you order.
I absolutely LOVE Picazzo's! The staff is VERY knowledgable about GF, DF and even soy-free needs and all of their pizzas can be made with DF cheese :D I had the tarragon chicken pizza and the skillet cookie- both of which were amazing! The cookie even comes with DF coconut ice cream if yore DF like me :)
