I got sick from eating here as well. It wasn't even that good, which was a complete frickin bummer. If you're a Celiac then hit the road, unless you want to get to know the ingredients of the soaps in your bathroom real well (if you know what I mean)

Not celiac friendly. Was sick right afterward. cross contamination is an issue here.
How nice to enter a restaurant where the items with gluten are marked and not the other way around! Almost everything is gluten-free. I ordered a gluten-free pita with delicious grilled chicken, lots of topping and an irresistible garlic sauce. Wonderful experience!

Ummm... the Falafel isn't gluten free. Enjoy your GF pita.
Very knowledgeable on celiac, clearly labeled, and plenty of options

Staff is knowledgeable and decent amount of options. No reaction
Really knowledgeable staff. They even cautioned against the homemade potato chips (occasional item), because they couldn't remember if they fried them with the falafel. Everything that has wheat is labeled. Looks like a common prep area though, so be warned. The GF Pita is AMAZING!

GF pita is so good! Love the chicken schwarma. Eat here all the time & never got sick.

LOVE the food here! I'm a highly sensitive Celiac and was able to eat here with no symptoms.
Yes
Very good food, a little expensive but very good. I'm not a good judge of gluten or cross contamination b/c I don't have strong symptoms but a lot of GF options.

Very accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Gluten free pita was great-we will definitely be coming back.

It was so good! I've been craving pita ever since I found out I had to be gluten free and this totally satisfied that craving! The worker that helped me was very knowledgeable. He made sure my food was safe for me to eat and he was very knowledgeable. Everything was fresh and made to order. You won't leave hungry or unsatisfied.
Delicious food! I was so happy to see gluten free pitas! It tastes very good. My only issue is they messed up order and gave me falafel instead of chicken. It still tastes great though!
Holy cow, really good food and they have a gluten free pita! It tastes so fresh and delicious!

They are located in the Highlands of Lombard Shopping Center, across from Yorktown Mall.
Food was great! Taste was good - it was very fresh, and you could tell they make most of the ingredients homemade on site. The servers were knowledgeable about what had gluten in it (identified on the menu) as well as what had a contamination risk.
NEW 11/2013: Make sure to try the new red pepper hummus, its fabulous! And also, they are contemplating getting gluten free pita. So if you'd like some, say so! Let them know.
NEW 1/2014: They now have gluten free pitas! And they are tasty. They are an extra charge but worth it to treat yourself every once in a while.
Very knowledgable!

Great food! Almost everything is gluten free and the things that are not gluten free are marked on the menu as such.

Pinched has amazing food in general. Everything is indicated GF on the menu and it is very easy to order safely. We order and eat there, take it home and even cater from there. Kids and adults will love the food! And don't miss out on their soup. It is almost always GF and delicious.
Very good food. The bacon beef thing is super. So is the chicken. Spicy green sauce is very spicy and adds a nice zip. All the sides taste well made and fresh. I guess it is asking too much for gluten free pita. The pita looks and smells wonderful. Reports are that it is as good as it looks. But sitting there and watching my table mates eat pita makes me jealous.
Great food, the menu is very descriptive, and displays which items contain wheat. They will make sure to not include the pita if you request and tell them it needs to be made Gluten Free. The Plate with the rice is very yummy. The hostess will even give recomendations based on what you order, for sauces and mix ins. Love this place.
Definitely some of the best gluten free dishes in the western suburbs. I went there last night and had the bed of greens with mediterranean salad, olives, and chicken shawarma. I've had this kind of food a couple of times before, Naf Naf is one of my favorites and their kabobs are great, but Pinched blows them out of the water when it comes to freshness and taste. They have a super hot red sauce that I added to my greens that gave the salad the perfect spice. The best part is that they have so many different gluten free options that I can and will be going back!
