Super disappointed. Came to have dinner with B cup for dessert. Manager says sorry all out. Poor planning!!!
I wish I could give zero stars. I got violently sick because my gf burger was served with regular mac and cheese- it didn't look right and one bite told me the mac was too good to be GF. I told my waitress and was assured, and a few hours later enjoyed a hospital visit.
I am confused by all the negative reviews, I have been here many times and when you say you have an allergy the manager personally ensures your food is safe. The food is great and they have many options. While all the fried foods are cross contaminated, they clearly communicate this in person and label it on the menu.
The menu states gf, but reality is that there is a lot of cross contamination. The staff is rude when you ask for gf. How do you have the right to ask of It's an allergy or preference. Just make it and keep it gf. On top of that make sure you don't contaminate. horrible. Avoid at all cost.
this place makes a good effort to cater to allergies. the manager came to our table and let me know that things are fried all together. however, I didn't think that meant things on the gluten free menu. it's billed as celiac friendly and their chicken tenders, which are on the gluten free menu, are not 100% gluten free. this is not celiac friendly.
Terrible .... Ugh stay away.
Not my favorite... Max burger is so much better and the bun doesn't crumble in your hand like it does at plan b
Mediocre food, very over priced, super long wait.
Absolutely not CELIAC friendly. All fried food is fried in same oil and Fryer as gluten items . We pretty much figured out that we could have a burger no bun on top of lettuce. mashed potatoes available on special request do not order alone. Contains gluten
Great food options! The gluten free dessert was excellent.
Good food. Gf beer and buns. Really rude waitress. No dedicated fryer but a nice gf menu.
Several excellent gluten free options- including gluten free beer- no dedicated fryer but clearly marked which items are shared- manager comes out with the gluten free menu-
Great GF menu.
The menu is creative but there isn't many options for GF sides. Not to mention I was pretty hesitant to eat here after the hostess gave me the GF menu and instantly started talking about cross contamination. I decided to order simple and did end up getting contaminated.
This place had great customer service. Manager came over right away once he saw i had a gluten free menu. before my waiter even got to the table, he was informed that i was need my food prepared separately. Big gluten free menu, but fried items are currently fried in a shared fryer. Gluten free beer and dessert too, as well as buns for the burgers.
Gluten free burgers!
I thought I had died and gone to gluten free heaven when I saw the menu! There were so many amazing options. I have the onion rings, burger with a homemade gluten free bun. The tater tots were great too. The servers were very knowledgeable about gluten issues! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!
AWESOME! GF abundance! I've been GF for well over a decade now. This place rocks it. Just stop whatever you're doing - and go there. Now. Celiacs rejoice! Hooray!
Food was great service was terrible. Plenty of good GF options, and even beer
Very good burgers and wings (in a dedicated fryer). When I talked to the server, he asked lots of questions and later a manager came out to check on me. I would definitely bring my daughter who has celiac here.
Fantastic for Celiac and gluten eaters. Tons of gluten free options, dedicated fryer, knowledgeable staff and delicious food. The waiter was well informed plus the manager came out and explained kitchen protocols to prevent cross contamination. Highly recommend.
Very good gluten-free hamburger and sweet potato fries. Our waiter asked if I was celiac and had knowledge of making sure the food would be safe for me to eat. My gluten free bun was toasted separately, and all of the fries are prepared with some sort of rice flour so the fries are safe. Would definitely recommend. My husband really enjoyed his non gluten-free burger as well.
The gluten free options are extensive and the staff were sensitive to the need for casein free food as well. Kid-friendly.
Great unusual offerings for celiacs. Fun service and amazing bourbon selection.
CELIAC HEAVEN! Thought it was to good to be true but so unbelievably good. More than half menu gluten free and the 💣💥 Cheesy Kale Dip and chips . I also had my first crispy chicken fingers since Celiac diagnosis 3 years ago. My hubby had a fantastic burger. The manager brought food out and willing to answer any questions about preparation and my order.
Great food and extensive GF options. Staff (Derrick) was very knowledgeable about GF and cross contamination. Strongly recommend.
Extensive options listed on the menu, knowledgeable staff and great environment. The food was DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend.
celiac heaven! use Rice flour so you can pretty much have everything on the menu. best gluten free section for main plates and apps I have ever seen.
Amazing to be able to eat burgers and fries!
Aaaaaamaaazzzing!!! I just had a CRISPY chicken sandwich/burger for the first time in over 5 years. SO good! This could have just opened Pandora's box. So many GF items and items with GF flexibility...many of them things that we almost never get to eat. Tater tots, fries, jalapeño poppers and so much more. All of it done beautifully (no crummy bar food here)!
Wonderful food great waitstaff and a huge variety of gf
Had a burger and chili. Awesome food and I didn't get sick!
Loved being able to safely have fried foods without getting glistened. The manager brought our appetizer and main dishes to the table and explained that no wheat flour or gluten ever hits the fryer. However, the service outside the manager was absolutely terrible.
Their french fries are now made in a dedicated fryer and they were the best french fries - thin and crispy - perfection. We went for happy hour, so the price was reasonable. My non-celiac husband enjoyed his meal. I did have a moment of concern because they carried our plates out together, kind of stacked, so it made me wonder if they understand cross contamination, but the meal was delicious and I did not get sick.
b restaurant is right at the Navy Memorial Metro stop. Some call this place Plan b but--I have relisted it as "b" bc that is actually what it is called. They can make most things on the menu GF and they are clearly marked. Everything that goes into the fryer is GF so--all chicken tenders, fries (not the sweet potato), wings, onion rings etc are GF. They make them with a rice flour breading. I got the breaded chicken burger with bacon wrapped onion ring and pickles and it was awesome--fries too! My daughter who has celiac got the kids grilled chicken and fries with no reaction. The hostess was so informed and knew all about GF. We ate outside and you look onto the navy memorial and its fountains with National Archives in the background. Great setting, great food...no reaction!! Oh! We also got the GF chocolate ganache cake....omg!! So rich you must share it with many but so good!!!
Great food and service! very accommoding for Celiacs.
If you have a chance to go here, then don't miss it. As a visiting Celiac, it was a dream. The staff is knowledgable. They now fry EVERYTHING in rice flour. The food was awesome. Something for everyone and great apps too.
Such amazing food, visited here from NH and was satisfied to find a good place to have a burger and some fries! 😊
Great place! Staff were incredible and vet accommodating. Tons of menu items to choose from! Good was wonderful.
Great at so many levels! Watch out for the name... Now it's called just "b".
A 5 star burger joint with great service ,great fries, and great burgers . Also, yummy gluten free onion rings. They can make almost everything gluten free!! They ask if it's an allergy or preference. I love their big mini burger and fancy fries. Our server, Alex was spicy and fun!!!!!😜. For sure # 1 burger place in Washington D.C. Don't miss this place!
I'm in love with this restaurant! So many creative options for the gluten free eater and all of them are delicious. I went a little overboard with ordering because I was so excited to have original tasty food. The staff is very knowledgeable about celiacs.
Phenomenal! This should be a destination spot for anyone visiting Washington DC. Choices in every course, more importantly, every choice was fresh made from scratch and made gf. Try the onion ring stack, the chicken tenders, or the burger salad. You will love every bite! Extremely GF safe too.
Good GF options available.
Had a gluten free beer, the AMAZING jalapeño popper appetizer and a Baja burger with fries and a darn good gluten free roll. Enjoyed it so much I are way too much. Would come back in a heart beat. (Celiac)
Great food! Gluten friendly and great service. We had chicken tenders, onion rings burgers and blackened catfish. All good was great,.
We have been regulars for almost a year now! They offer gluten free buns and dedicated fryers for the french fries and tator tots. My husband loves the beer selection. I highly recommend it to all, including friends with no dietary restrictions.
The chicken tenders are amazing and they know just how to cook a burger!! the server was very helpful in assisting me with my food choices too. We had a great time here! I had my naked burger wrapped in lettuce this time although, they do offer gf buns. A+!!
Loved the gluten free chicken tenders and onion rings. Burgers great and they have gf buns! Even have gf buttermilk fried chicken
Great new GF options! I have been here a bunch of times before and they always have GF buns and other items marked GF on the menu but have told me in the past that if I am very sensitive (I have celiac) don't eat the fries bc they don't have a dedicated fryer, sort of a disappointment since they were marked GF but I went in last night and the menu had even more GF options (chicken tenders, onion rings, fish and chips) I asked the server and she said yes they are all GF as they recently changed their breading process. I am always very nervous plus I am 8+ months pregnant and def didn't want to get sick so I asked the manager and she confirmed they now only use GF flours for breading and have friers that are totally GF. I had fish and chips they were pretty good and I didn't feel sick at all. Will definitely be going back! I wish more places would do this.
Service was terrible! They brought my kid a grilled cheese instead of chicken, forgot her juice. Brought our drinks after our meal (+30 mins after we'd ordered). Food was ok.
