After confirming with the manager what was safe and what wasn't, they still put a dinner roll in with my food. This locations kitchen is always very messy and I worry about cc. I won't eat here anymore.

Workers have no clue about the safety regarding a Celiacs meal.
I had to ask the cashier not once, not twice but three times to put gluten allergy on the order as well as make sure there was no bun on the plate.
He just stared at me blankly and said "yeah, I know". Well if you knew you would have put it on the order when I asked three times.
I got the receipt and there was nothing on there regarding gluten-free and no bun.
When we got the meal there was mashed potatoes with gravy on it which is NOT gluten-free.
Don't waste your time on this place!

Great food. Several items gluten free. Pork loin was confirmed gluten free by a manager. My wife (celiac) normally gets a quarter chicken with green beans or boiled yucca. Several sauces including the delicious cilantro garlic are gluten free. You always need to request "don't put a roll on my plate."
Good food at low prices. Detailed allergens list.

The VERY BEST EVER!! The manager, Lajauni, and Jorge who grills the chicken are so understanding about Celiac! You just ask for manager and request to get rice/beans and chicken that are gluten free!

Tropichop bowls (rice bowl) are gluten free. Eat this with grilled chicken very frequently & have never been glutened. Also this is very reasonably priced.

Had the Tropichops bowl with salad, black beans, onions l, and grilled chicken. It was delicious and I did not get sick.

I get the Tropichop from here but there aren’t that many items that contain wheat so I feel like if you’re gluten sensitive/intolerant like me, you’ll do fine. If you’re Celiac, I would be a lot more careful since it’s not a dedicated GF menu/facility.

The Pollo Tropical chain doesn’t seem to be very knowledgeable about gluten free, but many of their items are naturally GF.
I’ve eaten at various locations in south Florida and have never gotten sick. I looked at their allergen menu beforehand online which is helpful and always order the tropichop bowl with chicken, beans, corn, avocado, and guava BBQ sauce. Their flan is GF too! The yuca bites don’t technically have gluten either but I think it’s a shared fryer.
Eat at your own risk, but in an area that unfortunately doesn’t have many GF options, PTrop has been a reliable spot for me to grab a quick bite.
