Delicious food - fine dining, which is not always the case with a dedicated GF restaurant. Unfortunately, our waitress apparently wrote us off because we had our young children with us. Thankfully other staff were attentive.

2022 - Outstanding food. Everything out of the kitchen is gluten-free, so the only place to watch out is the bar menu for drinks. This is fine dining and the prices reflect that. Very much worth it!

Update April 2024. I ate here again and wanted to update this review to say that everything remains wonderful. Outstanding food and very good service. The entire restaurant is still 100% gluten-free.

This is my FAVORITE place to eat at in Asheville. It is pricey, but we travel to Asheville about once every two years, and it is worth every penny to be able to order ANYTHING off their menu. They are a dedicated GF kitchen with only beer at the bar containing gluten. I have eaten here three different times, and never had a reaction/symptoms.

Fantastic place for delicious GF food and good service. The poached pear appetizer was presented in a lovely way and tasted as good as it looked. The trout with roasted potatoes and almandine green beans was a fabulous tasty entree. The lemon cheesecake with shortbread crumble was a nice finish to a 5 star dinner. It was one of the best GF experiences my husband and I have had.

The best meal we had in Asheville! We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 course price fixed dinner—the Brussel sprouts, the chicken and the cheesecake were outstanding! All food items are gluten-free. Highly recommend!

Wow! We enjoyed a flavorful and wonderful meal. I just wish it didn’t take us so long to finally eat here, it was delicious and is now going to be a staple restaurant every time we visit Asheville.

Our absolute favorite bites were the grilled apple with cheese appetizer. It was mouthwatering good!

The complementary biscuits are also very good.

My husband liked his pork belly Pho and I had the Pumpkin Alfredo. My Alfredo was light and had a mild pumpkin flavor. We both enjoyed our main dishes but would try something else since everything at Posanas is 100% gluten free!

Best fine dining meal I’ve had since being diagnosed 11 years ago. Expensive, but worth it in my opinion to know you are 100% safe. Had onion rings for the first time in a decade! Amazing. Cheddar biscuits were great, and the pumpkin fettuccine was absolutely perfect. I also had the kale salad which was the perfect size and refreshing. Wish I could have had dessert but I was too full to keep eating. Ran us about $60 a person.

Picked up dessert to go. We tried the banana pudding and the lemon cheesecake. Both were delicious. Hope to make it back for a meal but we never feel excited to go for dinner now that they stopped doing brunch. Hoping they will bring it back one day.

I so looked forward for a beautiful gf Anniversary Dinner but the food was not good, the steak was tough and the favors in the pasta dish were overwhelming and didn’t balance each other out. The positive is the small amount I ate I didn’t get sick from gluten.

Fantastic dinner! I wish there were more restaurants like this one. The only item on the menu that is not GF is the beer. I would visit Asheville again just to eat dinner here!

My husband and I decided to try this place based on the reviews and it was excellent! It is a dedicated gluten free kitchen and the only thing with gluten in the restaurant are some of the beers. It’s fine dining so expect to pay fine dining prices but the dress is casual. I had the gnocchi and added scallops and even had dessert. Our waitress was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We will definitely go back!

Amazing - it’s a joy to eat in a restaurant where I don’t even need to ask if it’s GF!! Mostly dairy free too. The four of us all ordered different items and every one was spectacular. It was so good we my not even try any other restaurants during this weekends visit.

This is my first experience at a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. Oh…what a relief! I enjoyed the kale salad and market fish (scallops). The scallops were cooked perfectly, and the kale salad even won the heart of my non-kale loving husband. We split sides of bok choy, cooked with candied pecans, mustard seed and sorghum. It was quite possibly the best side I have EVER eaten. We also added a side of fried plantains—because why not? When a dedicated GF fryer is in the building, order the fried stuff! The meal was finished off with a potato vodka cocktail that was both sweet and spicy. Posana is a gem and we will be back!

We had a reservation at 9pm but went in early to see if we could sit at the bar, we got in quickly and decided to eat at the bar. Our entire experience was nothing short of amazing from bar chat with other patrons, recommendations from staff and the food was *chefs kiss*

I had the Tempura veggies for a starter, the Panisse for an entree, husband and I shared the Brussels and for his entree he has the NY strip. We had a couple of cocktails and for dessert, the vegan chocolate torte for myself and he had the carrot cake creme brûlée. Next time we are in Asheville this is a must stop!

Was in town for the Asheville Half-Marathon this past weekend, and what a special place Posana is! The menu rotates seasonally so we caught the tail end of the winter menu. My family shared the gnocchi, octopus, and housemade focaccia charcuterie. When I tell you I was in heaven... I also got the pork at the recommendation of our server, Ryan. I don't think I've ever had a pork chop that size and taste as good as that! What a treat this whole evening was.

Hurry.don’t think about it, just go. Well make reservations then go! We were surprised that the first hour they were open you can get a “deal” which included appetizer, entree, and dessert. We weren’t expecting that, we just took whatever reservation I could make! We had the soup and kale salad, Trout, pork, tres leche cake and carrot cake crème brûlée. It was all sooooo good. I actually got to eat the cheddar biscuits and for once got to try my husbands food. This is a dedicated gluten free fine dining establishment. Everyone who worked there was incredible. Everyone. So nice to have delicious and safe gluten free food. Perfect for a date night. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and so refreshing to eat somewhere worry free about getting a stomachache. Felt great after and love the high end creative cuisine.

Appetizers were so good that we finished before we thought to take a picture. The tempura and cheddar biscuits were so good. We got the steak and chicken, perfectly cooked, and for dessert we got the earl grey tres leches and carrot cake brûlée. See pictures below under the reviews.

Book a reservation for this amazing GF restaurant! Truly a celiac’s dream come true. Knowing everything is safe allows you to relax and enjoy it to the fullest. It truly is a fine dining experience and money well spent. I would have liked some more dairy free options (pasta) for my 5 year old with celiac, but the chicken she had was delicious. 10/10 for the service, atmosphere, and safety.
