Rushed to order, eat and leave, no GF menu option, manager just came over and told me what to avoid (fried food basically)

I let the waiter know that I had Celiac and she brought the chef manager over to take my order and make sure what I ordered was cooked separately and with precaution. I had the Anaconda Pasta and it was delicious!

Visited April 2023: Great experience at the Rain Forest Cafe! The manager was very knowledgeable and helpful when ordering. I got the turkey wrap on a gluten free bun and a side of fries. The manager confirmed that the fries were made in a dedicated fryer. She also informed me that the nacho appetizer was gluten free. She said that the chips are fried first thing in the morning before anything else to avoid cross contamination.

Extremely disappointed about seeing the great reviews for this place and the experience we had. We told the server my two year old son has celiac disease. He brought a manager over, we placed our order with her and felt really safe. Another server brings my son his food (cheeseburger with gluten free bun) and announced that it was the allergy meal. I immediately noticed the bread was regular buns. I snatched it up before my son could touch it and sent it back. Our server confirmed that they had sent regular bread. I believe that the hamburger was put on a gluten free bun and sent back bc my son was extremely bloated the rest of the day and the next and had gluten exposure stmptoms. The manager came out and apologized and comped my sons meal but did not seem to understand the seriousness. It ruined our entire trip to Disney.

Chef came and told me what was GF on the menu. I had the chicken sandwich with fries, and they were very good. Fries are cooked in dedicated fryer and they have GF buns for burgers.

Chef came out to go over options and modifications of other items on the menu, and took my order. Food was very good.
We went here because the ratings were amazing and there were gluten free options. I had ordered the gluten free Mac and cheese and my brother had ordered regular Mac and cheese. First of we had been waiting for about over and hour for our food. Then when our food came my food was first a sever put a plate in front of me and said gluten free Mac and cheese. I was so hungry I just dug in. Then the main waiter brought over another plate of Mac and cheese and put it in-front of my brother and said gluten free Mac and cheese. By that point I had already partially ate the fragility Mac and cheese. The worst part was I knew I was going to be sick the rest of the vacation. I started to spit out the food. They rushed me over to where they gave me a drink to settle my stomach. The manager took 20 minites and finally came out! She started talking to us and I felt really sick. They asked if I needed medical attention. She was saying how this usually never happens. First of all this should never happen. If I had a different alergy and the same thing happened I could have gone into anaphylactic shock! This is why I do not trust this place and I don’t recommend it. The chef should ALWAYS bring out the gf so we can varify. Not only that but every single one of the staff should be educated on allergy’s and auto Amune disorders like celiac.

The chef did when a extra mile to ensure everything was safe for me to eat .. and their chocolate cake is amazing

Did a great job with my GF needs. The chef came out to take my order with the needed modifications to ensure my items stayed gluten free. Great atmosphere too!

Waitress got the chef, but we had to wait for ages for him to appear before we could order. Girl had burger with GF bun and white rice (was offered fries, but wanted something else). Had steak with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Food ok.

The chef that came out was really grumpy and I ended up asking the waitress (who was awesome) to double check the allergen status with the chef. I got a Cesar salad with Shrimp (no croutons). Felt fine after lunch! They do NOT have a dedicated fryer. Overall experience was so so, but I didn't get sick, so that counts for something.
Had a very positive experience! When I asked the waiter about gluten free options he went and got the chef. The particular entree I was interested in was not gluten free, but he assured me he could make it gluten free. Very good meal, great service, plus gluten free dessert!

I went for dinner I became sick. I believe the food was cross contaminated.

Dedicated fryer for the fries, burgers with GF buns and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly.

As soon as I told my server I had celiac, he had the chef come out to speak to me. No dedicated GF menu but lots can be made GF. Someone brought my food out separately to ensure no cross contamination and the food was delicious.
Yes
Both my daughter and I have celiac and had a great experience! The chef came out and talked to us. They didn't have a gluten free menu but could make most options gluten free. Plus it was delicious!!
Fantastic experience! Our server has celiac so he guided me through the menu. The manager came to our table and filled out an allergy ticket for the kitchen. This was the best eating out experience I have had since my diagnosis 2.5 years ago.

While they have a gluten free bun and pasta, I find the atmosphere more enjoyable than their food.

My daughter is celiac, had a hamburger with GF bun and fries in dedicated frier. Server seemed knowledgeable. Separte GF menu. I had a salad which was surprisingly fresh. Good experience.

I went for dinner. There are a couple of options marked as gluten free at the menu. However they can make sandwiches and hamburgers with a gluten free bun.( Not sure about de seasoning). I ordered the China chicken salad. the staff help me making that one gluten free by removing a couple of ingredients.

Did not understand cross contamination or celiac unfortunately.
Went here because they had gluten free options.
Server ensured he understood me, said the burger was the only thing I could get - and when I said I couldn’t have fries in a shared fryer, told me they could bake the fries since they’re made in a shared fryer.
I did have the gluten menu pulled up on my phone but didn’t seem to know anything about it. So, Got the burger on the gluten free bun with baked fries, as it was my only option.
Dish showed up, a burger, covered in fries. Then he said, these are the regular fries, but the baked are coming out.
So all my gluten fries were covering my plate/burger.
Pretty sure the burger had a regular bun on it, could not confirm, so did not eat..
Server brought me a plate much later with baked fries, which was all I could eat.
Super disappointed, and needed to leave so did not send the burger covered in gluten fries back.
