So many gluten free options with a separate menu. Mind you I am gluten intolerant, not celiac. I generally do ok with a small amount of cross contamination.

Great experience!! They have a separate gluten free menu and brought out gluten free bread. The Carne Asada and Enchilada plate was absolute perfection. Portions are massive. The rooftop tabletop area is spectacular. 5 stars. Will visit again.

Celiac

I had a wedding rehearsal dinner here. I had no idea if they would have anything safe and after asking some locals with celiac they said to just discuss with the staff. We had a pre fixed menu. There was a veggie plate that they said was 100% gluten free, and then there was another chicken dish that they discussed with the chef how to make it safe for me (it had panko on it originally) and they grilled chicken for me a checked the ingredients of everything to make sure it was safe. We had two servers at our table and everyone was aware of my restrictions. They made me feel comfortable and I didn't get sick!

I did check and they do have a gluten free menu normally.

I was taken here on a while by someone else and had to quickly research opinions on my phone. They have quite a few options plus GF little muffins. They use corn tortillas for the enchiladas are safe. I had the cheese enchilada but I would probably get the chicken next time. I felt fine after eating here- no GI distress at all.

Symptomatic Celiac

Overall Rating

Review

If you are celiac and used to eating in safer bigger cities, DO NOT EAT HERE. I lived in fort worth for 4 years of my celiac journey. I ate here and few times and every time I would get some cross contamination but the symptoms were mild so I didn't think much of it. I moved to Seattle and recently visited home and ate here. On the drive we had to pull over so that I could vomit. HIGH cross contamination and my body cannot tolerate it anymore since living outside of DFW.

I really enjoyed the GF bread before the meal, which I’ve only been offered about twice at a restaurant, so that was a great start. I had a lovely salad (Field Greens with Texas Goat Cheese, San Saba Pecans, and Sherry Vinaigrette) then had a delicious Filet and Shrimp special that my server informed me was GF without the sauce. Though they had several options, I chose to forgo dessert because I was so full! The food I had was great, but I would have preferred more choices on the permanent GF menu— currently it’s a fairly boring array of meat+starch+veg. Overall, a great option for a “full” restaurant experience when you might be used to just being able to get a main dish or a salad.

Great variety of GF options. Love that they have GF bread. Servers are knowledgeable and are happy to check with the kitchen if they are unsure about something.

My fiancé is anaphylactic to gluten. Within an hour of eating, we were in the ER. The staff is taking zero responsibility and claims everything was gluten free. There are other reviews of similar stories online. He could have died, yet they are insisting the food is gluten free. Clearly they don’t fully investigate all ingredients and cross contamination.

Are here for dinner. Ordered from GF menu and expressed multiple times to make sure food was gf. Ended up getting super sick from gluten contamination and had to take off work the following day. Will be calling to complain to the manager.
