The service was great here! My waitress was very knowledgable about allergens and took extra care to make sure my meal was safe; she also took great care of my friend who is vegetarian. The burger and fries were good, as were the drinks!
Usually love Red Robin and this place had gluten free buns and a dedicated fryer, but the burger as so-so at best. The fries weren't very fresh and they forgot the condiments we requested. Also, $3 for a to-go soda that was mostly ice... save your money and find a different location.
Red robin claims to have a GF menu but upon arrival and requesting one I was told I had to use my phone and go online to see what was available, which I found very strange. Plus after looking online and finding a choice, I was then told this particular restaurant did not carry that item. Back to the menu and after three tries I finally found something I wanted and they had!! Then there was the back and forth about what was safe. Again referred to online. Why can't the restaurant print copies?? I found the entire thing silly and tiring. Finally received my burger, but it was an hour after I ordered.
Of all the chain restaurants RedRobin probably has the most gluten free offerings. I've never gotten sick after eating here. I was very skeptical the first time I ate here and made our server ask the manager on duty and the cook to confirm GF options. Fries are done in a separate fryer and the lettuce wraps are delicious. I've had the gluten free bun once and personally didn't care for it, but I am pretty picky.
waitress was clueless but nice. she ordered me a guacamole burger because she just wasn't sure how to ring in my order. manager helped her reorder it but she still brought guacamole on the side. their guacamole I'd not gluten free. ???? manager no where to be seen after that. not even busy when I went? ate my new burger and did no get sick so it was good
Terrific service from Trav. Knowledgeable on gluten free needs, and very kind. Ordered g free burger with g free bun and fries (made in separate fryer) and daughter ordered grilled chicken breast with g free bun. Delish! For once, my whole family had a sandwich and fries, together! And we passed the three hour mark of not getting sick after a meal out! Terrific!
Disappointing after such a terrific start. Our waiter most helpful and brought a tablet that allows customer to check off food sensitivities and then it interprets their menu for you. Gluten free buns for burgers & dedicated fryer for fries. However, our order got lost in the kitchen. Shift change for servers & we were lost in the shuffle. An hour after ordering our food FINALLY came and mine was wrong. It had to go back to the kitchen. My family was done with their food when mine came and my husband's broccoli came after my food. Thankfully, the manager generously adjusted our bill. So, the food was tasty and gluten free but disappointing and time consuming experience.
In my opinion I had a gluten free bun it was so dry I couldn't stand it honestly I tried asking for a different bun but they didn't have any. Also the fries they never told me they are mixed with other items with gluten so I was sick to my stomach.
Red Robin is generally a good choice for Celiacs with their gluten free bun option and cross contamination protocols (including dedicated fry fryer). We have had good experiences at this location but the last time we ate there my son got sick from cross contamination.
The gluten free bun was really good. I've tried many different gluten free buns and they all taste bland but this one tasted pretty close to real bread. Or at least I think it did. The burger itself was amazing and so were the bottomless fries. I highly recommend this place for gluten free eaters.
Red Robin is very helpful to people with celiac disease. They give you an iPad with endless options and even a gluten free bun. If you have celiac and are wanting something good where you and your friends can both eat, red robin is the place to go
burger is good. came out pretty fast too and it's a Saturday night. our waitress, Taylor, is on the ball. but.... my sweet potato fries came out almost black. not only do they look burnt, the charred taste is what i imagine of eating a chip off of the grill when cleaning it. These things should never have been plated much less served. The kitchen Mgr needs to step in somewhere. Other than that, so far my experience has been good. That's how bad these fries are. LOL my new fries arrived. just as burnt. Taylor asked if they were better and, uhhh no. so she got the mgr. he came out and looked at my fries and literally asked "are those too burnt for you?" ROFLMBO ummm there isn't a "too burnt". if they are burnt, they are "too burnt".
I have really tries with this one because my kids love it, but I get sick every time I eat there! I have had croutons picked off and a salad brought back to me. Some staff is knowledgeable, but others roll there eyes at me. We've given up. Not trying to be nasty. Just trying to save others the trouble!
This was my first experience eating gf at a restaurant and it was a good one. They brought over a tablet with their gluten free menu items, I was surprised there's quite a few! I ordered a bacon cheese burger and fries and everything was good, even the bun tasted like bread but was a little denser than the normal bun. My only complaint was it was a bit greasy from the bacon, but all in all it was a good experience :)
Our server (Joe) was very knowledgable about the disease. He was very careful in taking our order and a fresh batch of fries made in dedicated fryer was made for our table. The manager came out to double check the order after it was given to the kitchen staff. That being said, one star was taken off for the GF bun not being very tasty and the burger patty was a bit dry.
I love the fact I can get an actual burger on a bun here! Always delicious and if I ever have a question about whether something is gluten free they are quick to answer or find out. Love eating here!
I am always treated well at this location. I once had a waitress who told me all the fries were gf but when I protested she went and asked. Came back and profusely apologized as she had been at a location formerly where this was true (but not here) but I wasn't upset as she took the time to double check.
Items are not marked gluten free. They have a gluten free bun but it's not good. I got a cheeseburger, no bun, and I couldn't have the sauce. French fries are supposed to be in a dedicated fryer. You need to ask for no salt fries. You also need to ask for the kitchen to have an allergy alert. The waiter said everything on the menu was gluten free. Uh, no. They have breaded items and teriyaki. I was going to skip eating jut then he said he would give the kitchen an allergy alert. So everything I ordered would have anything with gluten left off like sauce. The burger and fries were good. But not $12 good. Theyre overpriced and don't live up to it. I mean decent cheeseburger but no toppigs, no sauce, and ok fris for $12? If we weren't tired from a long day, I'd just have everyone over to my place for a good burger and ok fries. lol
Love this place for gf burgers and fries. The waitress did tell me if you want gf for health reasons to let them know so they will cook the fries in a separate gluten free fryer to avoid the cross contamination you'd get from the shared fryer that cooks foods that contain gluten. They recently got new gluten free buns that are way better!!
Easy to use allergen menu. Fries in dedicated fryer.
I ate here while traveling from out-of-town and was so impressed with the service, quality of care taken in preparing my food, and my actual meal I just had to leave five stars. My server Evan...fantastic! He took care of me from the minute my party walked in. He guided me through Red Robin's gluten free menu on the iPad and explained how it would show him how to safely prepare my food. He was very willing to answer any questions and patient. When he was unsure of an ingredient or if a dish needed to be modified, he said he'd rather err on the side of caution and would double-check everything. I ordered the Ensenada chicken platter, which was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and the portion size, especially for lunch, was huge! Thank you, Evan and Red Robin, for a pleasurable and safe dining experience! Traveling for GF diners can be challenging and stressful, but this particular location went above and beyond to accommodate my needs.
Our meals were great. The server was on top of things, offering suggestions, and very kind. Separate gluten-free menu with lots of choices. The bun was delicious. My husband ordered gluten free with me so we could share our food and he said he didn't feel like he was missing out at all. It was a win all around and we can't wait to go back.
There was a problem with the app while we were there and I couldn't get it to come up and double check our order since it had been about 6 months since we had not been to a Red Robin. I contacted them and it was a technical issue. After the server helped me and she realized it was their issue she went and got the manager. He was very helpful and confirmed what we always get was still gluten free. My daughter had no issues here. It was a great experience or than the time missing with the app. Red Robin was very nice and quickly messaged me back when I posted on their Facebook page. If you have any concerns speak to the Manager. Very nice!
Great gluten free burgers with the gluten free bun option. Awesome gluten free fried as well.
Yummy burgers, knowledgeable staff. I've only gone during off hours so I was able to talk with the server. Works for me.
Just ask for the gluten free menu. It's on an iPad and very easy to use.
Allergen menu available on their website or you can ask to see it in the restaurant (they'll bring you an ipad with the menu). Make sure to ask for the gluten free french fries. Food was great. Servers were excellent in handling the needs of both my kids with celiac.
One of the reasons I like Red Robbins is because I can count on the consistency of my gf food. I always order the California Chicken in a lettuce wrap, no Mayo. Unfortunately the quality of my meal at the Missoula, Montana restaurant was of an inferior quality. The guacamole was very spicy, the chicken over cooked and with a bit of a burnt taste to it. The wait staff, on the other hand, were excellent and went out of their way to fix the situation. I was not charged for my meal, which was very generous and kind on their part. The cook perhaps needs some training. My husband found that his hamburger (not gf) also did not meet his expectation from Red Robbin.
I was attending a work meeting in the area and was happy to find Red Robin. I've ate at many r.b's and have NEVER had a reaction but unfortunately this was not the case this time. My server seemed to lack knowledge on the whole gluten thing- that should have been warning sign number 1. But being with others I let it go and stressed the importance of being gf. I did receive what I ordered. But several hours later my gluten symptoms showed up. Bathroom, fast heart beat, etc. It took me 7 days to get back to normal! ~ I know that it's hard to say for 100% sure that I was glutened here but I feel confident that I was. This is a chance we all take when eating out in a restaurant that is not 100% Celiac friendly. Good Luck!
Service is always hit and miss, we were especially disgusted by the behavior of a daytime manager who treated me like my celiac disease was all hype when I received a gluten-laden plate. This location is not to be trusted, we've given them several tries - all but one of them were total fails.
Website is not easy to navigate - no way to see all Gluten Free options without clicking through each section - even when you are in restaurant there is no paper copy. Super limited kids menu for a kid-centric restaurant. Would love if they'd offer GF French fries. My daughter was at a kid birthday party and was disappointed in her few choices.
They've gotten a lot better over the past couple of years. This particular Red Robin seems to be the best one in the area when it comes to giving special attention to people on allergen-free diets, and I've had a few good dining experiences here. The gluten-free bun doesn't seem to be Udi's like most places around here, but it's still pretty good and doesn't take away from the flavor of your burger. The garlic herb fries are also gluten-free and bottomless, so you're gonna be quite full when you leave here.
We love all Red Robins and have NEVER gotten sick. You do need to use their app to determine what's gluten free but their website is great for all kinds of allergies. Almost every time we've been asked if we need separate fries and although they take longer, they're never cross contaminated. It's a go-to for us.
