The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, and had breakfast and dinner. They made note of my dietary restrictions when they confirmed our reservation and acknowledged it again when we checked in. Waitstaff were well trained on which menu items could be made gluten free, and went out of their way to accommodate me. It was such a great experience!

Very good meal overall. Everything tasted fresh and masterfully cooked. Only gf bakery option was some toast but the egg dishes were all gf and oh-so-good. My wife is celiac and ate the The Garden Scramble, bacon and side of gf toast and had no reaction. Can’t speak to other meals but certainly one of the best breakfast spots in Bayfield.

We ordered one appetizer and the 5-course meal. There were options for each course that were GF. Server was knowledgeable but also confirmed with kitchen for everything. We had a wonderful meal there.

Enjoyed two breakfasts here while we stayed at the Inn. Staff seemed very knowledgeable about avoiding gluten, and provided good advice about menu options. No GF bakery but they were able to serve GF toast (looked like Udi’s). Excellent egg dishes, and terrific service.

Delicious breakfast and dinner! We stayed at the inn and breakfast is included each day. They did not have any GF bakery for breakfast, but there was plenty of other food to eat. I had the lake trout for dinner, which may have been the best fish I’ve had in a while!

Server was extremely confused about what GF meant. Asked for chef who was 'too busy'. Ultimately a more experienced server helped. Food was good, but a very difficult experience that shouldn't happen at this price point. Had high hopes, but don't plan to return.

Note- I made reservations in advance with confirmation of GF options.

Updated: Inn keeper replied to email with a list of GF options (which I wish we were told about) and indicating they do GF all the time. Apparently he was there the evening we dined. Also supported chef on not coming out but did expressed support for dietary restrictions.

Amazing muffins. Not too many gf options on regular breakfast menu, but I was full from the muffins before the main course even came!
