We love it here! It’s not a dedicated gluten free facility, but they are very knowledgeable about allergens. They have a comprehensive allergen book to look through and are very accommodating to making adjustments and will double check ingredients or preparation methods if needed. A regular visit now when we come to Seaside or Cannon Beach!

WOW! This was a favorite. The menus are well marked. The owner was very knowledgeable and polite. And not to mention GF battered fish and chips?! They are incredible. I never thought I would be able to eat that again!! I guess the place is 98% GF and will soon be fully GF. A must try.

I am celiac. I love this restaurant and the staff and the vibe too! Oh! The food was delicious, very tasty for being GF. The menu is varied and nearly everything can be made GF if it isn’t already. They have a designated GF fryer so I was able to have fried fish tacos. So good! Loved it, can’t say enough good things about them.

This place was delicious! Almost the entire menu is gluten-free! My non-gluten free fiancé and I ordered the same chicken sandwich and the only difference was the bun! Also the gluten free bun did not fall apart!

Staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free options. My chicken sandwich came out with a regular bun, I noticed before I took a bite and they were very apologetic and remade the whole thing. Went here twice in one weekend!

I ordered fish and chips and a raspberry vodka lemonade. Told them I had celiacs disease and he told me “you’ve come to the right place!”
Got glutened😭
It was really busy there cuz it’s spring break so maybe that’s why… might ruin our beach trip cuz I’m really hurting.

My 5yr old has celiac disease and doesn’t trust food she hasn’t had. We tried coming here anyway.
Knowing that the owner has a celiac family member and listing to the guy taking our order explain their precautions, she was comfortable enough to try the chicken nuggets/strips and fires.
She had no stomach issues afterwards.
Thanks for a great dining experience. It’s rare we get to eat out and travel is hard.

Great for brew pub food. Dedicated GF fryer. Fish (of fish and chips) are always GF. Their GF buns are really good. As said by others they have knowledgeable staff. They make their own sauces so they know the safety of the ingredients. They have a folder with the ingredients of all their food too. Really good experience!!

Had a great crispy chicken sandwich and my husband had the sausage appetizer. Both were good! The bartender told me that nothing goes into the friers that is not gluten free and really the only things on the menu that have gluten are the regular buns, beer, and the desserts. He also told me they were working on that. I would definitely eat here again and love supporting a good place!

I have many allergies, so I sometimes order gluten items, as they are sometimes safer. They said the fried cod and fries were gluten free. I can’t have potatoes, so I sunstituted the onion rings, which may not have been gluten free? They bread the cod with a rice flour, so maybe it was. I ordered club soda or soda water. They did not have that, but offered me a shot of the hop water, which is carbonated. A sip of it was fine, but when I tried to drink the hop water, my esophagus swelled up. It may be gluten free, as they said, but I am definitely allergic to it.

Fantastic place with great food. Over half their menu is naturally GF with no modifications. The owner has a kid that has a nut allergy and one of the other managers has a daughter that’s Celiac so they are very aware of allergies. Eat here!

This place was AWESOME for my celiac daughter♥ The owners daughter also has celiac, so he is dedicated to providing recipes and information that he knows is needed. You could see his dedication to serving those with celiac. Would TOTALLY recommend, and it was also delish! We had the gf chowder (couldn’t even tell), fish and chips and also a burger with a gf bun. All good!! Had such a great experience!

I got to meet the owner and he said to me, and this is a direct quote “the only way to do gluten free food is to make it for people with celiac”. AMAZING. He said his daughter has severe celiac so he totally understands and is super careful and thoughtful about other allergies too! He said he doesn’t have any nuts in the kitchen (I would still make sure about that but that’s what he said!) and they make everything in house so they know every ingredient that goes into the food and will let you know what’s in the food if you have other restrictions!! He also said when it comes to making things separate or in a dedicated fryer, he just doesn’t make two sets (for example) of fish n chips , he just makes it all gluten free! Pretty much all the food is safe you just have to make sure to get a gluten free bun, no wafers on the banana pudding and ask for no oyster crackers with the clam chowder. I had a lovely experience and felt so safe eating whatever I wanted! Truly a breath of fresh air. (Your experience may be different if you don’t meet/speak with the owner but the food is gluten free and safe in my opinion and I am super super sensitive) Oh and I have no idea about the alcohol because I’m pregnant and don’t really like alcohol anyway… sorry!

Hands down the BEST place in Seaside for Gluten Free. We eat there several times when we come to town. They have GF hard cider and GF house made Rootbeer if soda is your thing- it’s delicious. Their clam chowder and fish n chips are my favorites. My husband (who is not GF) gets the GF buns on his sandwiches because the buns are so good! We also love the fish tacos, coleslaw, smoked brisket, potato wedges and the banana pudding for dessert (mention GF and they leave off the nilla wafers to keep it safe). Could not love this place more! 10 out of 10 every time! Friendly and helpful staff too!

I got Caesar salad (no croutons), fish and chips, clam chowder, all gf! Fish and chips and clam chowder are naturally gf, employee told me they use rice flour and dedicated fryer, but told me to still say I have a gluten allergy when I order so they know to be extra careful (he said his daughter has celiac so he treats every allergy order like it's life or death). He said they can cater to dairy free too and they are very used to accommodating allergies. My salad came out with croutons and I sent it back and they remade it for me. The employee I talked to earlier (manager maybe? Owner?) checked in later and I told him about the croutons and he said he would definitely talk to the kitchen about that and use it as a lesson to learn. The food was delicious and the service was fast, I will definitely come back again!

This place is great. Very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free/celiac/cross contamination. Gluten items are mostly marked on the menu. If I had questions they took the time to answer all about food items and preparation areas. My daughter and son were able to have gluten free fish and chips in a dedicated fryer. I felt very safe eating here with my kids. Plus it was so yummy generous portions to boot. A shout out to Ben and Lady they help take our order and answer my questions. Thank you. Service was good. They double checked that the house made root beer was gf. It was. My celiac daughter LOVED her fried chicken sandwich and fries and had no problems. I also had the chicken sandwich, which I thought was a little over cooked, but the sandwich overall was good and the potato wedges and fry sauce were really good. Husband enjoyed his patty melt and other daughter loved her salad. Will definitely be back. So glad to have a good gf option when visiting.

When I asked if the fries were really gluten free, our bartender said there is very little gluten in the kitchen, mainly the bread and buns although there are also gf buns too. However their beers all are made with gluten. They have a house brewed root beer and a cider. I didn't try them but the Chowder, the Fish and Chips, and the Chicken Nuggets come highly recommended. Plus the ambiance and the staff are fun!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. We came back here since it’s such a relief to go to a restaurant that I can feel safe at. There are more GF items than there aren’t since most of it is GF by default. I’m not sure there is a separate menu because there are only like 3-4 things that aren’t GF. The staff was all also very informed.
The food is great, I got fish and chips and fish tacos for the first time in a million years, and they were so accommodating and friendly about it. I also am allergic to many tree nuts and were also accommodating for that. My husband who is not GF, enjoyed his food, and my daughter who isn’t GF but likes to eat GF enjoyed it all too.

Food was ok, not exceptional, especially for the high prices. Had a lot of GF options which was nice. GF chowder was pretty good. Self service also, take a buzzer and get food. Brought our food out with bread on it which was not gluten free. Took awhile to get food redone, and again buzzer to get food. Also, long wait to order. I will not go back. Do not feel great. Very little “service”.

FINALLY! When you first learn you’re celiac it becomes hard to enjoy a meal out with your family. Especially when you can’t enjoy your old Favs like the perfect fry or fish n chips. This place was amazing! Not only was the waitress kind and encouraging of my situation but recommended the fish n chips. AMAZING! The place was nice with perfect outdoor seating.
