Sharky's Mexican Grill

Be careful. The Chips are NOT safe. They are fried in same oil and fryer as gluten containing items are. I got sick 2 times here from cross contamination. It's off my list.

Celiac friendly?

No

Make sure they steam your vegetables not grill them, and switch out the white rice for brown. Also don't get the chips because they're not GF. Staff have been trained up since I got sick twice and management really care and want the GF items to be good and safe.

the shrimp tacos rock! Usually shrimp is breaded not grilled so it's a great treat.

Mexican food has so many GF options. Sharky's adds organic and non-GMO to the list. They are great about substitutions!

Bad at minimizing cross contamination. I ate here when visiting my family and their gluten free options are plentiful and well explained but I do not recommend for those with Celiac or very sensitive allergies, as I got sick anyway from their power bowl. Tastes good, but not worth the illness.
