The service was great. The server said he would remind staff so no cross contamination. The bread is Udis but the meat is so amazing that it makes up for the so so bread.

Great place. They have gluten free bread and lots of salads. They couldn't sell me a loaf of the bread but offerd to order one for the next day. A destination if in Palm dessert or Palm springs
Ordered a loaf of the bread and it is great. A little expensive but large.

Shermans is a great place for breakfast, but I would not recommend if you have Celiac. They have gf bread, and some very good gf brownies. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and will tell you that products are cooked on the same surfaces as non gf products when you order those items. Being intolerant, I have not had any issues as the staff tries their best, but it is not guaranteed.

Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about celiac. She warned me about the fries being fried with chicken strips, and even what mustard not to have on my GF Ruben. HIGHLY recommend this place!

The server was very knowledgeable, we went for breakfast and the only option is plain eggs. All of the omelets are made on the grill where everything else is made. They do have gf bread but you can’t get it toasted.

I got a rebuen pastrami stacker with GF bread.
As the waiter was walking away with my order, I stopped him and asked what my meal came with. He said fries. So I asked him if those were gluten free, and he said no. So I asked if I could substitute something and he said I could (I got coleslaw). He also brought me mustard which I had to scan to verify was GF, and it was not.
However, the sandwich was delicious--flavorful, perfectly browned bread, and a size that definitely filled me up.
They also have GF bakery items like chocolate cake, cookies, etc., and their menu makes it sound like they really try to be accommodating and conscientious of food intolerances.
There technically isn't a GF menu, but there is a separate page (on request) that says what is GF on the menu and also lists GF bakery items for sale.

The corned beef sandwich was awesome with its gluten free bread. Potato and coleslaw salad did not disappoint.

Great food and great service. Special Gf menu printed out!
Staff was great deli was perfect. Will probably eat a few more times while I am in town. They now make their own bread.

Phenomenal deli favorites like lox, corned beef hash, and pickles! I always get the corned beef hash with eggs for breakfast with GF toast. They serve all toasts dry with butter on side, so easy to eat dairy free, too. Amazing salads but they are HUGE. Definitely need to share the salads! Best corned beef and lox I’ve ever had and a must whenever in PS! Heads up though, there are cross contamination issues so if you are super sensitive, beware!

Rude staff. Mentioned I had celiac disease and would be ordering GF items. She immediately barked back - we can't guarantee it won't be contaminated. I know that, but can she note my concern. Yah, but I can't promise you was the reply.
So I said I would be ordering an omelet - how is it prepared? She described the method of using a pan and then the main grill, which they won't clean before my food is placed on it. Well can they just leave it in the pan instead? NO, we're very busy and can't do special favors. YIKES.
So I took my chances (and took an activated charcoal), but had to laugh when she asked if I wanted a bagel with that.
Needless to say I will NEVER go back. Didn't get sick, but did not enjoy the humiliation and experience.

it was ok. they have Udi's bread. they won't toast the bread so my entire sandwiche fell apart and I pretty much ate it like a salad. its only a 1 dollar up charge for GF bread. I will say they give you so much on the sandwich. I had like a half pound of turkey and an entire avacado on my sandwich. I posted a picture where you can see.
Chicken salad was listed as “savory” on the menu, but it was bland. There was a small piece of cartilage in the chicken salad. Generous serving and no reaction. Server was very rushed.
Not bad, not great. Cost $16 for a GF turkey sandwich that was nothing special. They did have a gluten free chocolate cake that was pretty good.
All their deli meat is gf and fantastic. For an extra $1.00 they make the sandwiches in Udis gf bread. Pastrami on toasted udis-just as good as I remember it pre diagnosis. Most or all dressings are gf for great salads. Did not try but they have a chic cake ( kept in back not in dessert showcase) BUT-not a dedicated fryer for fries - shared with chick fingers etc.
Yes
Great breakfast! Udi's toast, eggs, roasted potatoes = yum! Very nice waiter - Mitch. Knowledgeable.
I went here because of the other favorable reviews, and was SO excited because I had been here years ago in my pre-celiac days and loved it.
Couple things to mention...
First time, great waitress who knew what celiac was. She talked to manager. I loved my Reuben.
Second time, waitress didn't know what gluten was. Barely spoke English. Didn't talk to manager, and I got udi's bread untoasted with no condiments just meat and cheese. Was done with lunch before she brought mustard.
It is NOT a dedicated fryer for fries, and the gf bread is toasted on same toaster as regular.
I wish the manager would train staff better, and be more clear. Next time, if I go again, I will ask for manager.
No
The GF bread is Udi's. Happy it was served no less. Outstanding pastrami! Fries are made in a dedicated fryer.
BEST sandwich I've had in a long time. Gf bread, cakes, brownies. Extremely satisfied and will seek them out again.
Yes
The service was exceptional. The manager heard me tell the hostess I an gluten free and he told me how there are no guarantees but they do clean & separate preparation and have gf bread and all the meat is gf and some desserts. I had a gf brownie and BBQ brisket on gf bread that was amazing. I would definitely go back!
Yes
They have gf toast and bead for sandwiches. Not sure if they would be good if you are super sensitive. But I had no problems.
