They have a “gluten sensitive” menu. However, found a crouton in my salad after asking for no croutons. Made me wonder if they put croutons on and then tried to pick them off, missing one.

They do have a gluten sensitive menu. It isn’t very large, and they do tell you that it’s not a safe environment. I did have a reaction after dinner, despite even taking a gluten enzyme pill just in case. Would not recommend.

Went there based on reviews, waitress guaranteed me what I ordered would be safe. I am a very sensitive celiac and was quite ill for 3 days after eating there. If you are very sensitive I would not avoid this restaurant..

My wife has some extreme food allergies, including gluten. As soon as she expressed her concerns, the manager, Ponciano (Ponch) met with her and spent a lot of time figuring out how they could accommodate her needs. That was so reassuring! Our sever, Andrew, was extremely attentive and checked on us often. The food was delicious! I highly recommend Shorty Smalls! They have been here a long time...no wonder!

Gluten free menu with several things(front and back). Our waitress was very knowledgeable and understanding. I can’t have corn, so she double checked the ingredients for me before serving it to me. Had the guacamole burger with no bun(it was so-so) and French fries. They have a dedicated fryer but I’m pretty sure the fries were from a bag, so I was a little uneasy about eating them. However, I didn’t seem to have any symptoms after eating here. I’m not celiac, just intolerant and get a rash when I eat gluten or corn. My rash did not get worse after eating at Shorty Smalls 👍🏼

We have eaten here many times, they have stayed open late to feed my grandson after a show, and have always provided gluten free for anything my husband asked for, very concerned with meeting his dietary needs

it was good food. it is a BBQ place so there is a lot of biscuits and heavily breaded chicken fried steak....but, I had the grilled salmon and green beans and it was pretty good. The side salad was also rather large. The server, Wynetta, was lovely and did her best to make sure all was right.

The food was fine. I'm not confident that the fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer. The restaurant seems a little tired.
