Sadly the slaters of old is no more. Service and food included. And forget about going there if you have a gluten allergy. They aren't trained to deal with it.

My husband didn’t feel well after eating at this restaurant. They had to remake his burger even though we told them it was an allergy. The first burger came out with a regular bun even after ordering off of gf menu, then they were going to just replace the bun and serve again. Waitress did say they would remake when questioned and being reminded it was an allergy. I think it is a trendy place for gf but not really gf.
I was extremely disappointed. The staff had no idea about anything being gluten free.
Gluten Free menu is great & they carry gf beer. You do have to make sure to tell them GF when ordering, and specify which parts of the burger need to be excluded-can't eat the fries there b/c it is a shared fryer-if you spell everything out for them you will be fine. We eat here all the time and my husband has never gotten sick.

I was extremely excited to try this place because of the GF menu. The burger was just ok. Our waiter knew nothing of GF. The service here was horrible. We couldn't get our drinks refilled and we had to keep asking for our order of fries which we didn't get until our burgers were almost done. its ok if the waiter didn't have much GF knowledge, but at least be friendly. I doubt we'll go back.
I didn’t have the best experience here, which might have tainted my perspective - kitchen did not make the requested GF (allergy was overly communicated) burger with a GF bun - luckily the sever caught it as she set it down and took it back to be remade. She came back very quickly with it and I am not sure that they made a fresh sandwich or just removed and replaced the bun (which I’ll take responsibility for, because she walked away before I could say and I did not clarify or call her back). When it was remade, it came back with the salad on the plate (which is the only GF substitute for the fries) and the salad had croutons. That specifically was not clarified with the server upon order, though the allergy was, so I suspect their employee training on gluten allergy is not high. I did eat about half of the burger, and did not have a confirmed reaction, but did not feel great the next day. I would give it a second wary try, if I found myself there unintentionally.

Loved the Hi Brow Burger! I don't react to food from a shared fryer, so I didn't ask about that. We started with the ahi nachos which were fantastic! Wait staff was knowledgeable and I felt secure in ordering my food. W will definitely be back

The only truly gf option is the hamburger bun. The fries are not cooked in a designated fryer.. and our server didn't know that it's not ok. The food was good. The service was very slow and inattentive. We had to ask for the check after waiting 10 minutes. Granted it was a Saturday night. I am reluctantly saying that it is celiac friendly for someone who is very aware.
