ThIs Slater's is CLOSED.
I got food poisoning here, spent Memorial Day throwing up. I do not have celiacs, this was just poor food handling. They tell anyone with GF sensitivity that they use the same oil for everything which isn't helpful at all.
I've been here many times and the gf chicken sand and hamburger are excellent. They use Udi's buns which are very tasty and have a good texture. I recommend the custom build your own. Staff is friendly but the place is super busy on weekends.
instantly sick in restaurant. cross contamination

Didn't see gluten-free buns at this location so I got a wrap. A stupidly expensive wrap. Which was only okay. Plus they were stingy with expensive additional toppings and the service was awful. She was nice but she just never came around our table. I would come here again to try a salad, but I know we're all super tired of salads being our only gluten-free restaurant options. I didn't get sick or anything, but I can make a better and cheaper wrap at home.
I didn’t have the best experience here, which might have tainted my perspective - kitchen did not make the requested GF (allergy was overly communicated) burger with a GF bun - luckily the sever caught it as she set it down and took it back to be remade. She came back very quickly with it and I am not sure that they made a fresh sandwich or just removed and replaced the bun (which I’ll take responsibility for, because she walked away before I could say and I did not clarify or call her back). When it was remade, it came back with the salad on the plate (which is the only GF substitute for the fries) and the salad had croutons. That specifically was not clarified with the server upon order, though the allergy was, so I suspect their employee training on gluten allergy is not high. I did eat about half of the burger, and did not have a confirmed reaction, but did not feel great the next day. I would give it a second wary try, if I found myself there unintentionally.

Loved the Hi Brow Burger! I don't react to food from a shared fryer, so I didn't ask about that. We started with the ahi nachos which were fantastic! Wait staff was knowledgeable and I felt secure in ordering my food. W will definitely be back

The only truly gf option is the hamburger bun. The fries are not cooked in a designated fryer.. and our server didn't know that it's not ok. The food was good. The service was very slow and inattentive. We had to ask for the check after waiting 10 minutes. Granted it was a Saturday night. I am reluctantly saying that it is celiac friendly for someone who is very aware.
