I was initially excited because they had a gluten free menu. I had even called ahead to make sure. This restaurant was listed for OC Restaurant week and my friend wanted to take me out. When we got there, our server wasn't very knowledgeable about items for the regular menu and she had to check on a few things for us. We put in our order and my appetizer arrived with chips which was not what was listed on the menu. Because I know most fryers aren't dedicated we asked if the chips were used with other fried foods and we were told no (this person was not our initial server). About an hour after I left I started getting bloated and uncomfortable which is one of my signs I have eaten gluten. I called and spoke with the manager who then had to check with her kitchen manager about the chips. She said the chips have their own designated dryer but did comment that the appetizer I ordered on the gluten free menu was only offered with veggies. She apologized and asked if I was okay. I told her I would be okay, that hopefully I didn't consume enough to be a big problem.
I gave this review a 3 star rating because the gluten free bun with my burger was very tasty and everything did taste delicious. I have read fabulous reviews for other restaurants in this chain, so maybe we just got a new server? Definitely ask to talk to a chef at this location, or a manager if you have celiac disease.

The food here was delicious, which is why I am sad to say that I got super sick. I will probably give it one more shot to see if I have a different experience because the food was so good but it did not seem to be very celiac friendly.

I come here AT LEAST once a week. Friendly knowledgeable staff, tons of GF options, build your own burger, can not go wrong here!

Gluten free menu, server was very knowledgeable. Ordered straight off the #gf menu, did the lettuce wrapped burger and nothing fried since fryer is shared. Got super sick. :( Seems some people get lucky, but I wasn't one of them. Avoid if you have a gluten allergy.

Love the option to build my own burger. The 50/50 party is delicious! They do have 1 GF beer and cider available as well.
They had a dedicated gluten-free menu and offered the lettuce wrap your burger or have and Udi's bun. Also had gluten-free beer. Great burger!
I didn’t have the best experience here, which might have tainted my perspective - kitchen did not make the requested GF (allergy was overly communicated) burger with a GF bun - luckily the sever caught it as she set it down and took it back to be remade. She came back very quickly with it and I am not sure that they made a fresh sandwich or just removed and replaced the bun (which I’ll take responsibility for, because she walked away before I could say and I did not clarify or call her back). When it was remade, it came back with the salad on the plate (which is the only GF substitute for the fries) and the salad had croutons. That specifically was not clarified with the server upon order, though the allergy was, so I suspect their employee training on gluten allergy is not high. I did eat about half of the burger, and did not have a confirmed reaction, but did not feel great the next day. I would give it a second wary try, if I found myself there unintentionally.

Loved the Hi Brow Burger! I don't react to food from a shared fryer, so I didn't ask about that. We started with the ahi nachos which were fantastic! Wait staff was knowledgeable and I felt secure in ordering my food. W will definitely be back

The only truly gf option is the hamburger bun. The fries are not cooked in a designated fryer.. and our server didn't know that it's not ok. The food was good. The service was very slow and inattentive. We had to ask for the check after waiting 10 minutes. Granted it was a Saturday night. I am reluctantly saying that it is celiac friendly for someone who is very aware.
