The manager on shift was very knowledgeable, explained their process for Celiacs and even verified that everything I ordered was also dairy free. We came in the middle of the afternoon while they were cleaning their dedicated gf fryer, so we had to wait for a bit, but it was great to have fresh, safe fries with my burger. I opted for the lettuce wrap instead of the bun. Reasonable prices. Didn’t get sick.

Big, soft, puffy GF bun hit the spot and did not make me feel like I was missing out on a “real” bun. Delicious, perfectly cooked BETTER FOR YOU BURGER was all natural Angus beef, No hormones or antibiotics. Server was kind enough to explain they switch gloves when preparing GF burger. Great Go-To place to satisfy a burger craving (without guilt)! Can sit inside or out, alone comfortably because casual eat-in or take-out.

Had a burger with fries! They have a dedicated fryer make sure you specify when you order that you need gf. Was delicious and no reactions.

I love s'macks! They were very accommodating and knowledgeable. When I asked the cashier for a burger with a gluten free bun he asked if I had an allergy or if it was a preference. He was very patient with me and explained the precautions they take making the burgers and fries! Most items were able to be made gluten free and the burgers were delicious with local gluten free buns

the best!! fries and burger were satisfying and filling and perfect. the food is kind of greasy and totally unhealthy but it tastes amazing. they have a separate fryer for gluten free fries and have gf buns too. good protocols. i am super sensitive to gluten and have never gotten sick.

I ate here for the first time on Christmas Eve day, 5 of us were celiac or extremely gluten intolerant. The food was delicious, fries came from a dedicated gluten free fryer, none of us had gluten reactions. The bison burgers were truly excellent.

I am extremely grateful to this establishment for providing these gluten free options. Getting a cheeseburger with fries gluten free I thought was impossible. It's possible here and it's just, delicious. The staff actually understands celiac. Awesome!

Place is very aware of cross contamination and has a separate GF food prep area. I've eaten here numerous times without getting sick! GF bun available for burgers or chicken sandwich and they have a dedicated fryer for the fries.

I've eaten at Smack multiple times before and have never gotten sick. I order a better for you burger with a bunch of toppings on a lettuce wrap (personal choice over buns) with sweet potato fries. I really love Smacks and happily make the 30 minute drive sometimes just for the sweet potato fries :D

The guy said the fries were gluten free. There was a tater tot mixed in at the bottom. The burger was horrible and I got sick as dog. I will never go here again.

I am editing my review after eating here regularly. I had talked to the owner on my first visit and he assured me of the gluten free bun etc and seemed to really understand my concerns. There burgers and fries are delicious and fries are fried separate from other items. I haven't went back though since they seemed to have mixed up my order with my boyfriends (bun mix up) and fixed it by simply swapping the buns to the right burger! Complete contamination his sauce and bread was even stuck to my cheese. If you plan on eating here make sure you make it clear to the staff and explain cross contamination issues. Staff is not as informed as the owners.

Was visiting St Armand's Circle today and decided to stop on the way. Very good burgers, fries and custard. My family enjoyed it as much as I did. My gf bun was crumbly but still great for gf! Will return for sure.

Unfortunately their bun uses millet, which is a grain I cannot eat due to its similarity to gluten drains. I would have gone with no bun, but their service and attention to additional allergies was extremely poor. For somewhere that offers a gluten free special bun, you'd think their staff would be more accommodating to allergies.

Best burger I have ever had- egg, bacon, cheese in a lettuce wrap. They have gfree buns but I'm not a bun person. Had the fire cheese fries and they were amazing!!

This place is awesome! I spoke to one of the owners and they are very knowledgable about cross contamination! Food was excellent and the beef is hormone/antibiotic free so that's a huge plus in my book. It was so nice to actually eat a burger with a bun! The whole family loved this place.

S'macks offers gluten free buns from local Stellar Bakery. Many of the menu items are gluten free and are handled properly to avoid cross contamination with gluten products.
