Smokin Gold BBQ

Be aware that this restaurant now has new ownership as of Summer 2018. While I previously could eat here with no worries and the staff were always very understanding and accommodating, a recent visit was not the same. After specifying my gluten allergy and even querying about gluten free sauce, my plate arrived with a slice of bread and gluten loaded corn casserole instead of the gluten free baked beans. They did remake my food completely, not just take off the bread, when I explained but I have zero confidence in Smokin Gold now. How do I know that the new owners haven't changed recipes? The server did say they have changed sauces but promised it was gluten free.

Good experience. Gf buns were very good. Ordered the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches with potato salad, baked beans and Cole slaw with no issues afterwards. They had gf marked bbq sauce. They don’t have a fryer.

What a great find! The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and willing and able to accommodate celiac. The gf BBQ chicken sandwich was very good and the gf bun was delicious. Their sides of baked beans and coleslaw were very tasty, too. I highly recommend!

Super nice people and AMAZING food! You gotta try the burnt ends! Everything cooked on a green egg with the BEST flavor!

So excited to find some good ole BBQ that is happy accommodate our GF needs. We had the beef brisket and brisket burnt ends sandwiches on Udi's buns. Delicious! Definitely recommend the burnt ends if they have them. Owner greeted us and made sure he understood our needs so they could take the proper precautions in the kitchen. Super friendly! Super delicious! Will be our BBQ spot when we're in the area.

Very good! The pulled pork was great even without sauce. They did have a gf sauce. The baked beans are fantastic!

The Pulled pork and Beef Tips I had were fantastic. They had two different kinda of Gluten Free Sauces which were both good. I did wish they had a selection of veggies and a better (more healthy) selection of GF sides to even out the meal.Would go back again.

My wife and I had questions about the menu. Dan, the owner, came to our table and explained what was Gluten Free and what wasn't. Very knowledgeable. He has family on the gluten free diet so he understands the importance. Great bbq!
