Had the brisket and steamed white rice. They don’t have a gluten-free menu but do have a list of items that contain gluten, dairy, or soy.

Did research online to prepare restaurant options before the trip and drove here. Asked for GF option , and waitress said no gluten free option because chief didn’t know… don’t waste your time to come here…

The meat is GF but not a lot of other options and I definitely didn’t have a ton of confidence in venturing far from things that went straight from the smoker to my plate. The brisket was pretty good.

No gluten free buns, but BBQ gluten free

Their menu is marked with GF items. The server knew which bbq sauces were GF. Everything tasted great and I didn’t get sick. I don’t know how safe they are in regards to cross contamination but I’ve eaten there twice and no issues!
Smoking Pig was my gluten friendly go to place and one that I happily encouraged others to go to. They had a great menu that included lists of gluten free items. The fries were gluten free and were yummy items as mash potato brisket sundae (no longer on the menu). Now the only thing that is gluten free are a few of the meats. They are now gluten free unfriendly. My family and friends have not gone back.
I had the two meat combo with brisket and ribs and a side of southern greens (kale and collard greens in yummy garlic sauce). It also came with a side of white rice. My meal was tasty and I had some leftover to take home. The manager met me after I asked the waitress that I'd like to talk to someone about GF options. He was accommodating and pointed out the stared options which were GF and checked another item on the menu to see if the ingredients were safe. I do agree with the previous review-that it is kind of a hole in the wall place and bathrooms are old. The only reason why I didn't put four stars was because I had hoped there would be more options for sides and I felt that the place could have been a bit cleaner. however, the food was good.
Great GF menu. My fav BBQ!
Great flavor, I had the burnt ends and I was very happy to find... unfortunately I got sick so must have been cross contamination

OMG! BBQ so good. Lots of GF options, Different sauces in bottle with labels so you could pick and choose what you want. This was a BBQ joint. Has Drive In, Diner, and Dive's been here, because it seems like a great candidate. Can't wait until I"m in the neighborhood again.
Really yummy! All meat, many sides, and most of the BBQ sauces are Gluten Free (check labels on bottles to be sure). A great local find while driving through the city. Would highly recommended!
Best BBQ locally
Delicious!!!
Awesome! Kind of a hole-in-the-wall place, excellent food and friendly service. We had the "wolf turd" appetizer (cheese and sausage stuffed in a jalapeno and wrapped in bacon). Amazing. Also had brisket and pulled pork, the meat was smoky and tender and delicious!
Let staff know your allergies and they will check with the chef.
