In 14 years of being diagnosed as a celiac the one time I attempted to eat at Snack Bar stands out as the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Horrific staff, had to send back a basic sorbet multiple times due to terrible training (literally it came out with a cookie on top the first time and the waitress lied to me and claimed it was gluten free and it took me having to get a manager over confirm it was a wheat based cookie), still ended up getting sick. Not at all safe for celiacs I would definitely avoid and go to one of the other hundreds of restaurants in ATX that does a great job with handling gluten free.

Pretty disappointed after reading the great reviews. They do have a lot of gluten free options but many are fried in the same fryer with gluten items. I eat gluten and dairy free and it was harder to find options for both. The food wasn't very good either. We have many better options in Austin.

So many GF options and so little time! The Brussels sprouts were amazing. Whatever else you order, be sure to get some. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and everyone was friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a place to eat with more than 2 or 3 choices we highly recommend the Snack Bar.

Amazing. I loved this place. Brussels sprouts so delicious and worth the risk. I had the avocado quinoa with shrimp and it was divine. So many other gluten free options that I would love to try. Overall and excellent place with good food, good service and an good atmosphere.
