Visited on a recommendation from a friend. They offer a vegetable bar to cook with meat of choice & starch (rice or rice noodles safe) You then bring to chef & they cook infront of you. I explained the situation of being celiac & they understood & proceeded to clear a wok in a separate area. Freshly scrubbed, for safety. Sauce option was limited to 2 but it tasted excellent & left full, happy & never got sick!
Very good food. Menu does state if a dish can be made with gf ingredients and they do have gf soy, just ask for it. Not too many dishes to choose from. I've tried the Szechwan and Teriyaki chicken (yes, it's gf!). The second time I got the teriyaki as take out, the sauce was more watery than a thick sauce, which is what makes it sooooo good. Portions are big. Atmosphere is nice. I recommend
Final update: they are closing July 28th, 2015. GF sauces for the market bar (create your own stir fry). For the picky eaters you can make it exactly how you want. GF sauces are not at the bar, just ask for them. Update: the cook meticulously cleaned and sanitized wok and ladle before cooking. One of the only places where you can actually see how they are preparing your food.
Menu highlights dishes where gluten free options can be subbed in. No dedicated cooking surfaces for gluten free from what I can see. Great staff very willing to help.
They do offer several GF options and GF soy sauce so I was excited to try their food. After my experience PROCEED WITH CAUTION! The waiter had no idea about the GF menu options. I also had to emphasize many times that I needed to eat GF only! The manager brought out our food and I specifically asked him if it was GF just to make sure, he assured me it was. However, 20 minutes after eating I found myself running back and forth to the bathroom all evening. It completely wrecked my night. Needless to say I will not be dining there again.
Fun, unique, noisy, crowded and good. Them seem to get it for the gluten free. Last time I ordered the pad Thai, it was prepared with no sauce....they do make gf pad Thai sauce you know. What a disappointment, but the staff was knowledgeable about gf.
they clearly knew their stuff about gluten free needs and were also able to accommodate my shrimp and sugar cane allergies. I just did the make your own stir fry option to make things easier for myself- they have 3 gf sauce options for that. while I've had better Asian food for a chain it was good.
You can get food at the market bar, they have various gluten free sauces including teriyaki sauce. Make sure to tell them to make a note to sanitize the wok.
