I was hungry for a hamburger and found the Sunset grill had gluten free buns. The server was knowledgeable about celiac and I always ask them to inform the kitchen of my condition. She was aware of cross contamination ( no dedicated frier) so I had a house salad instead with my black and blue burger. It was delicious and I didn’t get sick.

I was a little disappointed after seeing the great reviews. I told the waitress I had a gluten allergy but I didn’t know the potatoes were not ok if my boyfriend hadn’t asked. I got a sandwich on a gf bun and did get slightly sick from cross contamination

Had an excellent brunch. It was crazy busy but my server was on it. Got an omelet and she knew I couldn’t have the potatoes or tortilla chips as a side. I had fruit and she offered their gluten free bread (untoasted since I have celiac). She even double checked the correct bread came out with it. Really tasty too!

I had the omelet and fruit for a side. The waitress tried to say the potatoes were okay, so I appreciate the earlier reviews that said they are not. It wasn’t the best omelet in the world but at least there’s something.

GF options were marked on the menu. I talked to server about being Celiac and she said there was no cross contamination potential on the Chef salad I picked. Was delicious!

The staff was very knowledgeable about GF. Asked me if I wanted my GF bread toasted bc it uses same toaster as reg bread so declined having it toasted. Likewise had to sub fruit for fried potatoes due to fryer used for items with gluten. I had a delicious omelet!

The food was so yummy but my best guess is too much cross contamination. I was sick within an hour (but not so sick that I ate gluten directly). Service and atmosphere were great. This might have been my fault that I perhaps didn't identify Celiacs. Overall, still got sick.

Out of the 3 meals we ate out on our trip, this was the 1 place I was looking forward to the most. Their online gluten free menu looks amazing and they seemed to have great reviews.

I was highly disappointed! Ate breakfast at 9am on a Sunday morning before leaving town. Very rude waitress, very unwelcoming, my gluten free questions were an inconvenience to her. The food was safe, and I did not get sick but it was very bland. Nothing exciting and for sure not worth the money I spent on my omelet.

Their gluten free menu online is only served on certain days and at certain times. So I did not get to eat what I really was looking forward to. Also, their 'unsweet' tea is actually 'passion fruit tea' and she did not bother to inform us of that.

The ONLY reason I even give it 2 stars is because I did not get sick.

On a weekend trip with my husband we saw online they had gf options marked on their menu. We asked when placing our name on the list if they have gluten free items and we were told yes. After waiting twenty minutes to be seated, or waitress said the restaurant is not celiac safe and she would not advise us to dine there. It was a bummer, but thankfully I was told and didn't eat and become sick!

Unfortunately I never got the chance to eat here. I saw the great reviews and called to ask if there is a wait. The man the answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked if there was a wait and his reply with a smart ass tone was, "of course there's a wait, it's Sunday, or busiest day...". like an out of towner had an idea. Thanks, and obviously our business won't hurt your business but you certainly lost customers today.

Server was very knowledgeable on GF and cross contamination. When I told him I have Celiac he suggested not eating the GF toast because they use the same toaster. Had a great omelet made in a separate pan. So good!

Very good food and I didn't have to explain anything! I told the waitress no toast and she offer gluten free toast :) and on her own she substituted fruit because the potatoes are fried with everything else. Very nice experience without me going into great detail.
