The shop is cute and the staff were not only friendly but helpful. The shop was incredibly hot though and the man who took our order was working with a really filthy looking bandage on his finger. The selection was very small so we got a raspberry cheesecake the size of a dessert plate, a pink flower sugar cookie and a brownie. The gluten free items were mixed in the same case as the non-gluten free items and it was confusing trying to figure out which was which. I couldn't eat the cheesecake because it had a LOT of seeds in the cake itself and seeds cause me problems. I tried the cookie and brownie but both were very hard, dry and crumbly. It made an awful mess. My husband ended up eating the rest but said he didn't like them though he thought the cheesecake was decent aside from the seeds. I suspect the baked goods are made primarily with rice flour and had been sitting in the hot case for a long while. The three items came to roughly $20 and at that price and quality and with a large chance of cross-contamination I probably won't be back.
Be careful!! This is not a designated GF bakery. It mingles regular sandwiches, muffins and cookies with sugar free and gluten free versions. My order was mixed and I was alerted to this after I had eaten some of my non gluten free food! The GF sugar cookie wasn't very good and overall I'm debating if I will return. Lots of options, but again be careful and specify GLUTEN FREE if that's what you want.
I love this place! I wish it was closer to my work so I could eat there more often. The bread here is the best gluten free bread I've ever had.
the owners are very sweet, and their gf/sugar free cookies are seriously the best I've ever tried! they taste homemade and you would never guess they were gf! highly recommended [:
They also offer Sugar Free Gluten Free!
